Success/struggles of the week: I have set a "goal" of 115 -- not there yet, but this morning I hit 120.9 and I think that while I'm still trying to lose five more pounds, for a cushion, I am pretty much where I want to be. This feels amazing!!

Welcome, congratulations and thanks for joining. Where do you live? There's May 1st already? ;)

Total Weight lost: 150 (at lowest wt so far)
Time it took to lose: 2 1/2 years
How long in maintenance: 9/20/16 first day of weight within maint range

    Feb avg 155.1
    March avg 155.9
    April avg 154.7

    4/30 153.6 YAY!

I've lost the birthday bloat! Today's weigh in was actually the lowest I've had in 2 months. The mirror has been telling me that I've lost a little bit, despite the scales, so now we know. My plan is to keep it tight for the next 4 weeks, hopefully to give myself a little latitude for our big trip in June.

This is the April thread too, but I wanted to copy it into the May thread so I'll have it handy next week.

    Total Weight lost: 30 lbs
Time it took to lose: came off in stages over several years (with some unfortunate yoyo'ing in there)
How long in maintenance: Since March 8. I "maintained" within 5 lbs of goal for about a year before this.
    Maintenance weight range: 128-133

Moving average end of January: 132.8
Moving average end of February: 133.3
Moving average end of March: 132.1
Moving average end of April: 130.8

    Week of...
    3rd April : 131.0
10th April : 133.4 (bounced up one day thanks to TOM)
    17th April :130.8
24th April : 130.8 (trend weight is now also down to 130.8)
    1st May: 130.2

Success/struggles of the week: Overall good week in terms of eating and exercise. Stressfulthe weekend, so I ended up eating well below maintenance several days because I just didn't have much time to think about food!

Success/struggles of the week: It's been a while since I've checked in, but I haven't had anything new/noteworthy to report. Anyways, I have survived finals and all the stress that comes with them, and I'm maintaining fine, but I'm bored with my fitness routine now. I want to try something new. I'll be browsing Google and the message boards for ideas.

Total weight lost: 72# (on MFP)
    Time to lose: 9 months?
How long in maintenance: Called it at 130# May 2015 but kept losing until fall.
    Maintenance range: 114-118#

    Averaged 114-115 January to April.

May 3: 116 (wth? gained 2# this week!)

Success/struggle: Well, obviously a struggle since I gained 2# in a week. I guess I shouldn't complain too much. Still underweight, just don't want to gain 2#/week.

Success/struggles of the week: Urgh. I missed one of my workouts this week, due to the Bank Holiday Monday, but I can't blame that for the rise in this week's weight - I know I loosened my grip on my snacking this week..... and it appears it hasn't worked out well!!! I've been 142lbs for the last 3 consecutive days now, so I know it's not just a temporary fluctuation (it's rare for me to be exactly the same weight 2 days on the trot even!). So - it's 'Action Stations' for me - I'm going to rein it in, lower my intake for a little while and try to get towards the middle/lower end of my happy weight range while I'm at it. I'm not going to rush back into logging all my calories just yet - I need to see if I can do this intuitively - but I am going to have to watch out for that snacking monster if this 'not logging' business is going to work for me.

Hope you all had a good week

    Successes/challenges of this week:
Successes: Continuing with a slight downward trend. Got a couple of paddles in this week in prep for my race tomorrow. Work is lightening up for the month, so hopefully that means I can workout a bit more.
Challenges: Still struggling to get enough protein and fiber for my goals. Need to balance my macros better. Need some more gym/strength training time.

I forgot to say, I think I found a hobby that also ties in to my work at school: trying to learn sign language. :)
