My boss came into my office this morning and said, "Wow, you look great today."
(It was very awkward because he's my boss and I'm a stumbling disaster around people I respect, but yay for getting compliments!)15 -
My husband said my pants are getting baggy!
I actually got the whole "I was feeling bad until I worked out." thing that I HAD thought I'd gotten before. Where before I felt better as more of an accomplishment to getting out to the gym, yesterday I actually FELT better. It had been 2 days since the gym and I was super super tired, lethargic to the point of not even wanting to read. Depressed and no matter what I tried I couldn't get out of it. My husband came home and I told him about it and that I wanted to go to the gym. He offered to watch the kids and I had a great lift session. I didn't feel like the same person going in the gym as coming out. VERY awesome! I have read people say how much better they felt after they got a run in, or being grumpy if they missed a workout. My NSV is actually getting that experience and now I know what to do next time I feel that way!22 -

This one is totally vein but it's one of those moments that I thought would never happen again. I'm getting ready for work and I look in the mirror and I see my individual chest muscles moving. So I am like some 14 year old kid flexing my chest watching the muscles Ripple and going wow. Totally self-absorbed narcissistic thing to do.
To all the new people who'll read this all I can tell you is trust the process it works believe in yourself and realize your worth it. God bless

This morning, at my employer's health assessment appointment, the nurse (who last saw me three months ago) asked before she weighed me if I had lost weight. Also, yesterday at my nurse practitioner appointment, my blood pressure was in the terrific range! I am so happy about that.12

Definitely a NSV : although this morning the scale didn't show any weight loss compared to yesterday, I have started to notice that my belly no longer forms a bulge at the front but rather a curve... I'M GOING TO GET RID OF THESE BLOODY LOVE HANDLES !!11

HIt 95 here yesterday after a pretty blah start to our summer. Got to 85 in the house and I wasn't even sweating. I used to wear shorts in the middle of a Canadian winter and hated when the house got warmer than 65 as I felt hot. and sweaty.9

did my first deadlift with 45s on the bar. *kitten*'s heavy lol16

I am starting to see my kneecaps, I can see my anklebones already, my arms are getting smaller, it is comfortable to lay on my side already, my hips don't stick out as far now, now if I run my hands down my side I don't run into a hip and can just keep going. My back is getting less flabby, and last night I noticed that instead of the end of my butt and the top of my leg being the same thing, it is clearly two separate things now and I was on my back for a short time last night and happened to feel my stomach and it has gone down some.18

I have a rain jacket that I used to hardly be able to zip up at all. It fit, but barely.
Yesterday I was caught in a sudden rain with wearing small backpack that I didn't have a rain cover for. So I put my jacket on over the backpack...and it zipped up no problem24 -
Several lately, which is good because the scale hasn't moved for a week.
1- my brother in law stopped by and commented on my loss. Haven't seen him since mid February, so he last saw me at my "before" weight.
2- I am absolutely amazed at how much easier it is to walk around our hilly neighborhood now. Even in this ridiculous heat, I'm outlasting the furbaby.
3- This one will sound weird, but my body feels...softer...now. Like it's not all stuffed and tight. Muscles are still well-hidden, got quite a ways to go there.
4- went shopping in my closet and can wear almost everything I dragged off the shelf that used to be too small.
5- I weigh less now than I did 3 years ago.24 -

I totally get it! I walk everyday sometimes just to lift my mood (besides all the other benefits) I don't feel "right" until I do...one day it will be a natural extension of your life...well done!10 -
My most recent was at the beach! First time in years that I was able to get in and out of the ocean without help! Whoo hoo!19

I'm rebuilding my wardrobe with clothes labeled slim cut. Crazy.23

I'm 47 & now wearing 34" waistband Levi's that are older than I was when I bought them new. I was squeezing into 38's just 5 months ago.23

I think I know what you mean - my belly is like that now! It's still fat enough to make me look pregnant if I don't attempt to suck it in, but it feels all soft and squishy and wobbly now rather than harder and "tight" like you describe.3 -
Have not been a morning person since I was around 10 years old. Decided on Monday night to walk the dog before work because I hate feeling time poor after work in the evening and trying to squeeze housework, study and exercise in. Every day this week I actually got up and did it. Usually I'd just hit snooze and not get out of bed, but I've held myself accountable so far. Hope I can keep it up. Especially because the scale did not move the last week22

I have to retire a shirt of mine that I can no longer wear due to the fact that it is too large for me. On the other hand, I tried on two other shirts in my closet, one of them being one of my favorite ones, both of them having buttons, and not only was I able to wear them, but I can just about sit down in them without there being a gap gaping in between the buttons on my lower stomach. I just have to lose another inch or two.18

I lost my jawbone band at a wild outside party (the stupid clasp wasn't very trustworthy). Although I'm really bummed about losing something that valuable, I feel much more free without it. Strange how tracking some data can hold you hostage..
(note: i didn't use it as a tool for weightloss, just tracking steps and sleep, I'm maintaining and the calorie estimate was way off, I can easily eat ~250 calories more than jawbone's estimate)
Also I spent 5 days eating and drinking my way through London last week and I actually lost weight. I still track but it feels nice to try to eat more intuitively without gaining24 -
As of today I've lost 4 inches off my waist (33 to 29). Also, my calves have always been huge, but today I noticed they just barely touch when I stand with my feet completely together!19

I do a preset walk on the treadmill - I hour at 6.5mph. I had to build up to being able to do it without stopping, and I'd have to concede was not a pretty sight when I finished. Today the treadmill stopped and I thought the power must have gone off as I was absorbed in my own little world thinking about something random. But the hour was up! And I hadn't noticed. I used to be hanging on for dear life. The treadmill is my friend...37
