Since logging what is the one food that blew your mind for having so few calories but still taste great?
What has surprised you the most.
Things like Sour Cream, Mushrooms and Eggs surprised me for how few calories they have... and vegetables remain amazing...

I second sour cream, but also just vegetables in general. I've been on a green bean kick and eat like 200g at a time for less than 70 cals steamed. I love putting a ton of veggies on my plate so it feels like I'm pigging out.
Also, I'm really happy that I didn't have to give up milk in my coffee. Frothing a half cup of 2 percent milk for a latte is a lot less than I thought it would be. Just had to switch from half and half.16 -
Most root veg and all winter squashes.
Pineapple -- seems like it should be much more than it is.12 -
Strawberries - I just wish they were cheaper!43

don't bite my head off but SUGAR. a teaspoon is only 15 calories. very satisfying tastewise and psychologically if you sprinkle some on fruit/whatever else you want or in your hot beverage of choice. makes you realize how much sugar is packed into so many of our foods... because a little can go a long way.95

Actually, I completely agree... considering sugar is "the bad guy" simply adding a teaspoon or two of sugar to your wheatbix is actually fine...
The war should be on "Hidden Sugar"..

Lean ham.
Cooked bacon.
Watermelon.
Pineapple.
Also, although I knew the calorie count per tablespoon or gram for oil, butter, and sugar, I was surprised that the amount of oil I typically use for cooking, the amount of butter I use for toast, and the amount of sugar I occasionally add to tea or cooked cereal really didn't amount to a horrendous of number of calories. It turned out I was using less than I thought.15 -

Lean meat in general. I am not a fan of fatty meat and i love that own cuts still allow me to have a big steak out a huge serve of chicken or pork.5
