Zucchini fries
I'm treating myself to Olga's for dinner tonight but I am still making an effort to trim down the calories. Since my beloved Snackers seem to be too high in calories, I noticed the menu has new zuchinni fries but there is no nutritional info for them. It says they are lightly battered and cooked....any idea how many…

How do I know?
When I signed up for this I did the 1200 calorie thing but how do I know that is what I should be eating? I have read some posts on here that say 1200 is too low and if you have too few calories it won't allow you to lose the weight as quickly. So, how do I know that I should be eating? Thanks!

Food for Thought...
Now that I am seriously counting calories and keeping a log, I am amazed at how many calories one eats without realizing when we are in the "unknown". When you get in the habit of logging them down, you automatically start thinking of food differently! I also look at all the restaurants and food industry and am amazed how…

suggestions for fast food?
I know it would probably make more sense healthy-eating wise to skip fast food lunches altogether, but I really don't want to give up that extra getaway in my workday. I get paid for being the lunch-getter, free food, and generally spend a lot of time sitting around doing nothing at work. Basically, I look forward to…

Red Wine
For those out there who are finding that red wine is ruining the calorie plan for the day, I might make a suggestion: Pomegranate juice in a wine glass. To spritz it up a bit, add selter water. There is a low sugar brand out there and it's only like 29 calories in 8 ounces. Just a thought.

Please troubleshoot me
I’m sure other people (especially women) have a similar experience. I've averaged about 1250 net calories per day (after eating my exercise calories) and I only maintain my current weight. Many say that means I need to eat more calories. When I increase my calories I gain weight very quickly. (One weight-loss diet I…

Great Summer SNACK!
Here is a delicious treat my mom used to make for me when I was younger. It is so simple, I can't believe I forgot about it!! Just peel a banana, wrap it in tin foil, and FREEZE IT! A smaller banana has like 70-80 calories and because it is frozen it takes longer to eat and is SO refreshing on hot summer days.
