I'm 5'7" and currently around 145 My measurements are 33.5/28.5/37.75. I would like to get to about 130-135. My body fat is between 18 and 19%, but I feel a bit bulky because I have larger legs. Basically, I want to continue toning while also getting a leaner look.0

I guess I am a slightly apple-y pear. My waist to hip ratio is 0.79.0 -
I'm 5'7". My starting weight was 180-ish pounds and my goal weight was 140. I am pear shaped.
I ended up beating my goal and weight just a little under 135 now.0 -

Pear shape
HW: 190lbs in high school
SW: 175lbs June 2012
GW: 145lbs reached March 2013
CW: 143lbs
Current size ranges from 4-8 depending on store/style/etc.
I always carried all my weight in my hips and thighs. I didn't lose much off of my thighs, but they are strong and they don't jiggle as much. I don't want to lose anymore weight so I have to embrace the giant thighs!
You are doing great already! Congrats on your 30lb loss!0 -
I'm between 5'6 and 5'7 and started at 229lbs in a tight 18, comfortable 20. Currently comfortable in a 14 at 178lbs. Goal weight is 140-150 and whatever pant size that goes with that (hopefully a size 10!). I gain and lose pretty evenly but was more pear shape this time around when I started.0

I'm 5'6 and weigh 140 pounds, size 6.
My goal weight = 125, size 4/2
At my heaviest I weighed 168 and size 12.
I would describe myself as a more athletic build- broad shoulders, smaller breasts (34 B-Cup) solid legs, slightly curvy between hips and natural waist.
Remember, 1 pound of muscle takes up more space than fat, so weight doesn't really matter. It's body fat percentage. And the ideal is 14-24 percent. (14 percent being more for athletes).0 -
I am 5'51/2" tall. SW 205 size 16 GW130. Current weight is 137 and size 4 - 6. I put on 9 pounds with the holidays so all fat and I've gone up from a solid size 4 to a sometimes 6. I plan to keep eating healthfully and think I have too much fat on my body still. Tend to be pear shaped, but lost the pear when I was exercising more than I do now. I did get down to 132.6, so thinking 130 is probably good for me. Although shopping for size 2 does not appeal to me as I note I can't find much out there when I do shop! Health is my goal.0

i'm 5'6" and an hourglass shape, small framed but with unfortunately massive breasts.
i'm at 202lbs. right now and a few years ago i dieted and exercised hard core to try and get my weight down for my insurance to pay for a breast reduction. i got down to a size 8 (158lbs) but my chest was still quite large (36 G). i could have lost another 30lbs and still be within a normal bmi range, but i'm not sure i would have liked my physical appearance. my gw is 158lbs again, but wouldn't mind making a second gw to about 145lbs.0 -

Currently 172
First goal 150 then maybe 140
I am pear shape. All my weight is in my butt and thighs. Started at size 20 jeans even though they were way to big in the stomach area. Now I am a size 14 hoping to be a size 8 some day.
Great progress!
I'm 5'6" and already at a healthy weight ~131 lbs. However, I have about 28% body fat and my muscles need help. I'm now shifting my focus away from the scale and working the heavy weights. I don't even know what my goal is now other than to make myself healthier and stronger.0 -
I'm 5'7 and my starting weight was 157 (I wasn't on mfp then). I'm now 142 and would love to get to 135.
All of my fat is right at the love handle area and I hate it. I have super high hip bones so it looks funny. However, I'm growing more comfortable with my body each and every day and am feeling good I wear a size 8 or 10 pant size. It really just depends on the brand0 -
I'm 5'7' my starting weight was 237lbs
i am now 176
My goal is to get to 140lbs or lower if i'm not satisfied.

I am definitely pear shaped.
At this point I would just like more muscle tone, so I'm not as concerned about getting down to 130.0 -
I'm 5'7, starting weight 191 and goal weight 154 (maybe 144). I'm a large frame hourglass.0

I am 5'8
Started at 185 in March....I am now 163. I am not sure what body shape I am. I am pretty sure it is b/t straight and hourglass, I also have a small body frame.
I started at a tight size 12 and I am now almost an 8. I lost most my weight in my torso so far, but I have a long torso.
My goal is anywhere from 135-140.0 -
I'm 5'7, my SW was 162 and I'm currently at 158. 130-135 is goal. I'm hourglass shaped I believe, but right now I feel like a pear!0

Hi everyone!
I am 25 years old. 5'6"
SW: 130

I'm a pear shape unfortunately. But that also means I've noticed a lot of weight loss in my hips and butt. I've lost an inch in my hips over the course of three weeks!
I started this journey after trying on some old bathing suits. I figured I was way too young to not be rocking a bikini because of insecurity over the way I look. I'm trying to get more toned definitely and hopefully down to a size 2. I'm a solid 4 right now. I've heard that at 20% body fat you can actually see your muscle definition. I'm definitely aiming for that!.0 -

Started a heavy lifting program last week - looking forward to seeing the changes happen to my bod.0 -
Im 5'6", I weigh 148 pounds and I'm roughly hourglass, I have a large bust - 34dd. I wear a size 2 in jeans or a 27 and a dress size 4. My goal is to get back to between 128 and 130 and then maintain it. I'm noticing from reading these posts that weight really really varies a lot, and also that I'm friggin heavy for a size 2 lol.... I'm working on building muscle but I'm definitely not super muscular so I'm wondering now why I'm so darn heavy for my size if other people at my weight and height are a size 6 - anyone else have this going on with their body?0
