Like the title states, how do you react when a person be it from the same sex or opposite sex just randomly compliments you?
Do you like it?
Do you think they are crazy?
What is your honest reaction?

Honestly? Slight embarrassment
I'm used to being the ignored one, so getting any form of attention is a little odd to me.0 -
What are they complimenting?0

I usually find a way to compliment them in return...0
-
Just smile, say thank you, keep moving. Enjoy the concept later . Always surprises me.0

Manners dictate that I smile and say "Thank you". The only caveat being that it is an actual compliment, and not harassment or someone hitting on me.0

I have been wearing unique/big/colorful glasses for several years. I always get compliments. I love that.
What I don't like it when people grab my arm (I have a sleeve) and ogle it.0 -
I usually feel uncomfortable receiving compliments. I say thank you, but always feel like I have to credit whatever helped me achieve whatever they're complimenting, and then give them a compliment right back.0

I say, "you 'mirin?"0

I smile and thank them0

I say thanks and would probably tell them it was sweet of them to say0
-
If it is someone truly trying to be sweet, I will say thank you. They're not always sweet though.0

It makes me uncomfortable because I don't always see myself as someone else sees me. Internally, I'm analyzing if they are saying it because they mean it or saying it to be sarcastic. So, I just usually smile and say thank you while my brain works overtime.0

Don't really bother me, however when drunk men or women get touchy than it seems awkward however I got used to intoxicated people so it is what it is?0

I assume they want money.0

In the past I used to deny any complements. Now I've learned to say thank you and have a good day.0

I Love getting compliments and will say Thank You! (probably with a big grin on my face!)0
-
I say thank you but I'm my worst critic. So if it's something I've accomplished, I'm flattered but in my head I can't help but point out all of the things I could've done better.0

Terribly. Compliments are the kind of thing that make me stay indoors in a very dark place0
-
I say thank you and usually tell them they're very sweet.0

I used to be suspicious of compliments, but as I've aged I now know how precious they are, so I always say "thank you" with a big smile.0
-
It does not happen, but if it did, I would run away, or hurt them in some way if I could not get away from them0
-
Say thanks cause it makes my day 10x better0
-
Surprised and uncomfortable but also grateful. I also feel this way when it's someone I know.0
-
its never happened so i cant say lol0
-
That depends. Is it a genuine compliment, or is it something we social strings attached.
Usually, it's a smile and a "Thank you."
Unless it's got undercurrents that don't deserve thanks. Then I am temporarily deaf.0
