Insanely windy out today. Put on my tighter fitting gear, and did a fun ride along the coast today averaging 12 MPH going south, then 20 MPH returning north while maintaining the same heart rate for the entire ride. Time for some aero bars.

I'm going to lurk a bit - just got the nicest bike I've ever had a few weeks ago. It went out for one maiden voyage before the holiday season proceeded to kick my butt lol. I plan to read and make some mileage goals. I'm pretty severely overweight BUT I'm signed up for a Ragnar Relay in April which I do not plan to skip out on...0

Installed my present (cateye strada computer) and took the bike for a spin yesterday and today. Unfortunately, none of my existing heart rate monitors were compatible with it (as it seems to use a proprietary 2.4ghz sensor), so I'll need to snag a new one so I can see cadence, speed, and HR in the same view.
