my story, it's good.0

I need something sweet in my coffee, otherwise it's too bitter. But I'm pretty much addicted to my coffee and Bailey's creamer.0

oh btw, it's not bullet proof, couldn't even stop a .220

I do have an exbf who lost a lot of weight on this but it was because it suppressed his hunger and replaced some of his unhealthy meals. Making a small change like this helped him make other changes to his diet. Before hand, he basically ate Mexican fast food 3-4 times a day and drank a 12 pack of craft beer a night. I've lost touch with him and don't know what other lifestyle changes he's made or exactly how much he's lost.
I personally couldn't stand the taste of the coffee but have always disliked butter.0 -
I tried it for the first time this afternoon. I was going to have lunch afterwards, but I just wasn't hungry. I'm still not, 5 hours later!
So yes, it definitely fills you up and with healthy fats. It also tasted yummy, and I'm not even a coffee drinker.
Some people pop a raw egg in it too. Makes it creamier, and no eggy taste. I'm going to try that next.1 -
Raw eggs and coconut oil in coffee? dafuq is going on right here.
I'm going to start mixing toothpaste in my orange juice and add some apple cider vinegar to my milk.1 -

I can tell you aren't a coffee drinker...
You're ruining it with butter, coconut oil, and now raw eggs...
At least be safe while ruining your innocent coffee:

Right? It's like we're witnessing total societal breakdown right here in this thread, lol! One more over-the-top coffee add in, and we may be lucky enough to see an actual tear in the space-time continuum and Satan himself rear his head and devour the universe.
Just kidding, folks! Put whatever you want (or nothing at all) in your coffee. Whatever gets ya through the day.0 -
Why are so many people in favor of ruining coffee?!0

one big cup of nope. i tried it before i bought my magic bullet so it was basically just a cup of coffee with an oil slick on the top.0

Black or a lil cream/stevia. There is NO way I'm putting butter and oil in my coffee!!! Making my gag reflex tingle this morning...0

even if it weren't, a slight shock might produce results.1

without giving too much away, a half depleted 9 volt and alligator clips can be interesting.0

yup.
I like Starbucks though, good staff, nice place to work from, and their coffee is one of the better ones available locally.
It doesn't help I'm out of my brasilian stuff, and my lion's estate kona.0 -
Don't pollute your coffee people. Jeeez!0

I was sceptical at first, but actually like it.
It also solved an issue for me too, as I like to get out for a walk first thing in the morning, but find that after I'm done preparing breakfast, time has moved on, and find it difficult to squeeze in that morning walk.
So typically, I got out in the morning as soon as I'm dressed and have had a glass of water, but found on an empty stomach I tended to feel sluggish and found myself dragging my feet as opposed to enjoying a nice morning walk. Enter a little bulletproof coffee, and voila, problem solved.
Now when I get up in the morning I grab a mug and dump in a teaspoon or two of butter, a teaspoon of coconut oil, add coffee and my own addition - a teaspoon of cocoa powder, blend it all up with a hand blender, and I'm out the door full of energy
I will say though, I don't treat my little bulletproof coffee as an opportunity to celebrate heaping saturated fat into my system, or skipping breakfast, but it is a valuable addition to my morning routine these days.0 -
By the way, I don't balk at the thought of butter/ fat in a coffee as some do. Full fat milk and cream have long been typical additions to coffee, so butter or coconut oil was not such a leap for me..0
