cold but too many years in California have made me a cold weather wimp!
@LoneWolfRunner - looked at your profile and realized we are close in age and have been
running about the same amount of time. Makes me even more impressed with your distances and that you run in those conditions in PA! Wow is all I can say! Way too, too cold for me.

Joining late! Running slowwwww & working on mileage mostly. Training for a half this year! Need all the motivation that I can get! Making a small goal of 75 miles for January, really hoping its more like 100 though.

Glad to be back in the warmer south for my last few pre-marathon taper runs. Heart rate isn't complying with my target marathon pace, so it looks like I'll be closer to the 3:45 mark if I don't gain a ton of fitness in the next week (or encounter ideal race conditions). Still, would be nice to crack the 3:35 mark at my second marathon later this year (Pittsburgh, May), but I'll likely need to take off another 15lb to get there.
