I usually only drink a cup of organic coffee and nothing else. I KNOW this cannot be helping my weightless progress. I want to start eating breakfast!
I would love some wholesome and tasty ideas(:

I can't be bothered sitting and eating most days (unless its grab and go like yogurt etc), so pretty much always a protein shake. Healthy, filling, fast and tasty0

Nothing.
Zero.
El Zilcho.
Nada.
I'm losing weight quite easily. I eat lunch and dinner, but just for the life of me cannot eat anything for breakfast. I literally get angry about breakfast. It's irrational, but it is me.
I will drink a juice that I log for breakfast but I have it after having been working for 4-6 hours already.0 -
I know that many dieticians are very gung ho about the whole breakfast thing but I think that if you really don't want to, or can't, eat that early - then don't force it.
I drink coffee. if i am going to the gym, i'll eat a small banana or one whole grain cracker before i go. After the gym, sometimes i'm starving and sometimes not - so i'll eat a plain lo fat yogurt or some hard cheese, sometimes a fruit. i used to eat oatmeal but I am trying to lose weight so i stopped (I know it's healthy but i'm trying to cut back on carbs).
other ideas - google "low carb breakfast muffins" - eggs, veg, cheese - you bak in muffin tins and then you can freeze till ready to eat.0 -
today my protein shake, cantaloup (one cup) and red grapes (one cup)... I'm starting to get hungry again.0

I ate half a watermelon today (Melon 1 - Seedless Watermelon). It's only 100 calories, 0 grams of fat, it makes me feel extremely full... and I don't have to cook it which is always a plus for me in the mornings :noway:
Yesterday I had a boiled egg and a cup of green tea (Only 70 calories, but the egg is 70% the daily value of choloesterol, so careful with that)0 -
I keep trying to give up protein powder. When I am eating it, I look forward to chocolate protein mug cake for breakfast every morning. The reason I'm having trouble giving it up0

what i have learned is that eating breakfast is important because of your metabolism. if you dont feed your body in the morning your metabolism shuts down, and it holds on to the "reserves". the body is a very complicated system, but oh so smart lol. if it thinks your starving yourself then it will hold on to every little thing u eat.
anyways, i do eat my breakfast everyday without fail because i have seen how it works. I HATE EATING BREAKFAST, but i understand the concept. your actually supposed to eat less through out the day. so breakfast should be your biggest meal. I have done this in the past and im doing it again (whenever i can) and i was able to lose 5 pounds per week.
i sometimes eat brown rice in the morning, fish, lentils, avocados, green plantains, beans, vegetables. I do admit that 2 days out of the week i will eat lighter in the morning. but yes breakfast is important and i dont know how but it helps you lose more weight.0 -
I bring my breakfast to work - I throw 2 eggs and Laughing Cow wedge into a microwave container and cook at work. Sometimes I do a wholegrain sandwich thin with peanut butter and polaner's jelly. Sometimes a cup of greek yogurt with berries, nuts and a little maple syrup. I love breakfast.0
-
cereal with almond milk but I eat at work on my break because I leave home so early I don't have time or inclination to eat before I go. I've tried to make a microwaved omelet at work, there a special dish you can get. 2 eggs and tiny bit of diced ham and cheese (or whatever you like in you omelets). Can't do that too often because I only get 15min and going from the 8th floor to the 17th, cooking the omelet, and returning to my desk takes too much of the break.0

Oatmeal with raisins and brown sugar
Two slices of bacon
I usually have half a grapefruit, but today I had grapes, cantaloupe and pineapple with 1/3 cup of cottage cheese. It'll put me slightly over my breakfast kcals, but I'll make it up at lunch.0 -
I eat once I'm at work. It lets me sleep longer :-) plus, I'm not hungry right away in the morning. I tend to stick with Greek yogurt. Sometimes I add in a turkey sausage patty, sometimes I make a healthy breakfast casserole (no eggs, cannot stomach eggs) and omit the Greek yogurt. But it's usually Greek yogurt, with or without something else. Then I just have a mid-morning snack if I get hungry again.0

Porridge (with dried fruit)
Cereal - not great but quick and easy
Grapefruit - probably my favourite
Yoghurt
Toast with butter (I can't eat spreads they are just such a wrong colour)
Egg - number 2 in my favourite list usually as an omlette. Put it in the pan on a medium heat, jump in the shower, out the shower, flip if necessary and serve!
Depending on my shifts and the like I might even have beans on toast or something pretty heavy about 9am then a light snack around 4pm and tea around 9pm0 -
2 small eggs and Sara Lee toast!!!! With water of course...0
-
First breakfast (8:30AM)- Black iced coffee, Fage 0% yogurt (either cherry or blueberry) with chia seeds mixed in.
Second breakfast (11:30AM pre-workout)- wheat english muffin with natural peanut butter0
