    I think there's a generation of us who had at least one cat named Hobbes.

    Perhaps I'm somewhat worse than most in that my sister crocheted a stuffed Hobbes for me... by request...

    Calvin and Hobbes are two sides of the same coin; hard to have one without the other. That being said, I'm solidly on Team Hobbes.

    I remember the principal in my elementary school as being massively tall and somewhat menacing... Last fall, the principal (long since retired) came to my parent's 60th wedding anniversary party. I'm taller than him now... and I'm less than 6' tall... perspective...
