Nothing too special though I had a struggle as the tupperware opened in my purse and some spinach with hummus spilled. Messy clean up there. Spinach salad with minced chicken thighs, sriracha hummus, zucchini, 8 mate rice crackers snack and some caramel macchiato caramels.

My bento box stuff got here today :) Will try it out on Monday. No lunches on the weekend. Already busted into the egg molds though. They all look weird except for the bunny one. Also, my silicone cups are sooo tiny. I thought they were larger when I ordered them. They are the size of a quarter, maybe. My matching bag to carry it in is set to come tomorrow. All bought on amazon except the little animal picks, I found them at the local oriental foods grocery for 1.50$. Wish me luck.

I have those baby silicone cups too! They don't sound that small when you buy them and the picture is completely misleading :frowning:

If I'm correct about the size of a quarter, I have some too. I find them great for the tiny squishy items like Japanese pickles, a small amount of a thick sauce, a single mochi (a soft usually sweet rice cake thing) or similar. Other than that, they get used for baking mini cupcakes or chocolate work now.

ooo I have considered getting that bento box. I have a couple small cups too, but they are kinds cute shaped so I just plan to use it for little things. Not much from me today. I barely got the chicken cooked before leaving for work. I had black bean chicken and spinach. And I left my phone at work again. So, no picture tonight.

Having trouble fitting 40-50 grams of protein in my bento breakfast/lunch. Any tips? I have been trying out Greek yogurt with different protein-y things inside, but it doesn't seem to be enough. I can't eat huge amounts of meat either... vegetarian for 7 years and recently reintroducing animal protein into my diet each day.
Quinoa has lots of protein. According to the database, 0.5 cup has 11g protein with 318 cal.

    Beans
kidney 225 cal, 15g protein in 1 cup cooked
soy 189 cal, 17g protein in 1 cup cooked
garbazo 200 cal, 12g protein in 1 cup cooked
black 296 cal, 20g protein in 1 cup cooked

    nuts
    almonds 1 oz 186 cal, 8g protein

Just watched! I love cooking with dog. Husband just asked what's the point of the dog. I told him, there is no point, he's just there. He says oh, okay, well it's cute, anyway and that looked good

Chickpea & mushroom curry over rice in the bottom,
pickled beets, dates, candied ginger, a couple lifesavers, and some gum (which I still haven't opened).
    87260896-364a-46c1-a1a5-472c5a0bd842_zpsztq2wbkr.jpg

Grapes, cheddar cheese, carrots, and the sandwich is turkey with dijon mustard.
Mostly I wanted to post this one to show the neat sandwich cutter I got. Those are puzzle pieces.
The set has 5 shapes, and that's the one that would fit best in the box.
The others are a heart, dinosaur, butterfly, and star.
I got them at a steep discount in exchange for leaving a review, otherwise there's no way I could get them.

Also got the box at a discount, though it's currently listed at $5.49, which is REALLY good for stainless steel!
It's not waterproof, no seal on the lid, and the thing to keep it shut isn't too strong, so I'm going to make an
elastic band for it. But it's a nice size. There are actually 2 layers of sandwich there, it's that deep.
    6.75 x 5.25 x 2.25 inches
    17 x 13 x 5.5 cm
(Not accounting for the rounded corners.)

ETA: I don't know why the lower picture is showing up so huge!
In photobucket, they're exactly the same size.

Without Francis, the show would just be 'cooking with chef'. Not nearly as catchy.

Leftover fajitas, Spanish rice (under fajitas), and mixed veggies in the big tier. (Unfortunately, the veggies had turned on me, so I had to toss them :/ ) Half a kiwi, half a red plum, almonds, and chocolates in the small tier.

Those look amazing! The last batch of homemade gyoza I made did not look anywhere near as pretty. Tasted great, but a sin to look at :grimace:

I brought a bento but it's cold and rainy out, so I'm gonna save the bento for tomorrow and get some soup instead ^_^

Had a bento for at work. Pork from grocery store, spinach, sweet and sour sauce, artisan grain bread loaf (half) and a little soup packet (not much is in English just that it's a clear soup good with sushi and such).

    That pork looks delicious!

That's an instant miso soup. If you want to know what it says, there's a few of us around who would be able to translate at least some of it.
