About 8 months and I did about 1200 calories a day. Low carb high protein. Lots of grilled chicken, eggs, veggies

Is 1200 calories per day advisable for a man? I'm 5'11'' about 240 and I want to get down to 200. Did you hit the gym some days too or you just ate cleaner?

No, I would not go under 1600 calories, for faster result do workouts and try to eat clean.

I would suggest eating more than that. You are a guy and need more calories I would say about 1600-2000 plus some exercise. And yup hit the gym almost everyday and did cardio!
