This is dangerous. Very dangerous. Totally worth the 180 calories. So good.

Now I want to try other flavors, lol.

Not sure if these are new? I remember having this flavor when I was younger..

Yeah it probably isn't, I've just never tried them before (I moved here 13 years ago so I guess I've missed out on all that childhood stuff).

One of my favorite desserts from Brittany. Cannot wait to try it out, I haven't had any in 13 years but I haven't seen any reviews of them anywhere... Needs to be out for 7 or 8 hours first though so it will be breakfast this week end at some point. Nom.

Here's a review of them from a website I like and trust. I shop regularly at Trader Joe's and the reviews on this site have almost never let me down:

    whatsgoodattraderjoes.com/2014/07/trader-joes-4-kouigns-amann.html

Note that in this case, several folks in the comments section disagreed with the low-ish review scores, and provided instructions for how to properly prepare them. I haven't tried them (I just can't bring myself to deal with all that saturated fat in one fell swoop), so all of this is second-hand info.

It's odd because it's the only site I've seen that didn't like them!

But thanks for posting this, I guess I'll scratch the idea of making them for breakfast and will make room for them after lunch, otherwise they'd probably end up proofing too long, and will stick to the 23 minutes that was recommended in the comments too.

I do have high hopes though, I mean those things are the #1 reason I've been dying to go back to Brittany (#2 being the crepes, which I haven't managed to make as good here), if I can just buy them here and they are satisfying... just totally awesome.

I don't know how I never saw them before though, but the box is different now too.

Oooooo. Are there coconut flakes or just a coconut taste? I'm also scared to ask about the calories. :)

There's coconut in there, according to the label. (I had to get my glasses to read it :) ) Not big flakes but maybe more ground? Its not a big bar; 180 calories.

I found these for cheap at the bargain store either for $0.99 cents or $1.99 & these are so good. These are a harder cookie, but so amazing!

These are 130 calories for two.

Most of it I'm not even required to review- you just have to charm the folks at customer support! ;)

I do the same thing haha, I've gotten boxes of things for free :).

    *pats her trusty magnifying glass*

I'm good with coconut flavoring. Just not pieces of coconut. And I like the quaker granola bar version so...

I need these in a mini size. :)

Oh man.. Probably a good thing there's no Tesco here, lol.

Found s'mores Toaster Strudels but I passed, I don't care for s'mores that much.

Start writing to companies via email, be extremely nice, and make it clear that you want free stuff. Here's an example:

    Hi!

I've never tried WTRMLN WTR, but I always catch myself eyeing the little 12oz bottles whenever I go to Natural Grocers. They're so neat looking! Then I find myself walking out of the grocery store with immense regret that I didn't try one. This has been every single grocery trip for me in the past two (or even three?) months! Would you be ever so kind to perhaps send me a coupon for a free bottle, so I can finally get around to trying it and know what your fruity goodness is all about? I'm sure it must be absolutely delicious.

    Thank you in advance!

Brilliant! The only time I tried they told me that they can't send samples but gave me a coupon code to use online.

ETA: I just tried with Chia Pods. Fingers crossed.

Good luck. I gave them a shot and they never got back to me after I told them I didn't own a grocery store, but ya never know!

Where do you do most of your shopping?

Anyone tried the snacks from graze? Saw a review online and they look good

I love Graze. I do have the old price though, I'm not sure I would pay their new price.. but I'm paying $10 for 8 snacks, which really isn't too shabby.

    So I bought this

    P28-Foods-High-Protein-Spread-White-Chocolate-738416000023.jpg

Will be curious to try it with oatmeal sometimes this week.

@Francl27 what did you think of this spread?

I like it ok. A bit too gritty for me... I actually haven't touched the jar in a while.
