I was craving fatty mexican food, so I compromised on the above post... Delicious I have to say and fit into my calories and was a much better alternative to a fried burrito!

I found this at the Bargain Outlet

    th?id=JN.OMyAEkNq86WhvWpQVumHYQ&pid=15.1

This isn't new, but it was the first time I've ever seen this.

The malt base of the ice cream was very delicious, but the mix-ins were so boring! I thought it would taste more like a Milky Way bar. It's 140 calories for 65 grams.

Also found this at the Bargain Outlet

    Peppermint-Wonderland-Ice-Cream.png

I tried the Slow Churned last year & found the regular version for $1.99 (it was expired but still tastes fine to me)

The base is very good, but I am disappointed that this doesn't seem to have any mix-ins. The Weis store brand Peppermint ice cream last year had huge Peppermint pieces throughout the ice cream. 65 grams for 140 calories.

I've been on a bit of a protein hype the past few weeks and was really looking around for some good bars and found Quest Bars, I bought the 'Cookies and Cream' and 'Double Chocolate Chunk'. They're horrible, they taste like artificial sweetener and salt, and I can never stomach more than half a bar in one sitting, I've found that they're more palatable when cold, although that means they're harsh on your teeth. But despite all that, they're really good for you, and not a bad (even if horrid tasting) filling snack for on the go.

I'm interested in trying the Quest Protein chips though, and have bought some BBQ flavoured ones which I'm still waiting on in the post. Fingers crossed they taste better than the bars, and also better than 'Protein Bites' by Novo which carry a very strange taste regardless of flavour.

If you think their protein bars taste bad, just wait until you try the chips!! lol They taste truly horrid!!!! I recently tried some sea salt & vinegar Kale chips and mind you I am typically not a fan of Kale in any form (to me it has a strong bitter taste which I find very off-putting), but much to my surprise the Kale chips were quite good (fantastic actually) - so much so that given a choice between the Kale chips and the Quest Protein Chips, for me it would be a total no-brainer - I'd choose the Kale chips every time! But please do let us know what you think of the chips when you try them!

Eh I like the chips. Never cared for salt and vinegar so I didn't try those though.

That chicken enchilada thing looks like it might be a good lunch option when I don't have time to pack my own. I'll have to keep an eye out for it.

Anyone try the Gifford's ice creams?

The S'Mores & Golden Brickle seem interesting.

I like the chips too. I think the cheddar and sour cream flavor tastes like the real thing (with a bonus cheetos residue). :)

I was just on vacation where there were 7elevens everywhere and saw they had their own ice cream. Unfortunately we were there on our way to a hike, so no ice cream for us. Now I wish I'd stopped by and picked some up just to give it a try!

Lucky! We don't have 7-11s down here.

I haven't gotten any samples, but Nadamoo and Peanut Butter and Co are sending me some coupons, and Nadamoo informed me that they're going to be on sale at HEB for September.

I finally tried the Oreo Thins. They are pretty good! I don't know if it's because I haven't had a plain Oreo in forever, or if it's the Thins, but they taste very sweet.

Also, The Tonight Dough is as amazing as the last time I had a pint.

I really like the Evol frozen meals. They still don't quite fill me up, but better than Lean Cuisine or Healthy Choice. That chicken enchilada bake one is good, as is the chipotle chicken mac and cheese.

Whoa Whoa Whoa... Golden Brickle sounds like it might be similar to Butter Brickle, the flavor I recall most fondly from my childhood that I can't find anywhere!

    OMG it is!

Let me guess, not available in the midwest...

I just moved to the US, so a lot of products are new to me. I tried:
    • Caramel Apple Oreos from Target. Tasty.
    • diana's bananas frozen chocolate covered banana slices. Pretty good, but probably won't buy again once they're gone.
    • Caramel Nut Blast Balance bar. Got a box of 6 on sale, but they're just okay. I will finish them but not buy again.
    • Trader Joe's Cookies & Creme Cookie Butter. So good, so dangerous to have it in the cupboard!!
    • Trader Joe's Popcorn in a Pickle. Pretty good.
    • Archer Farm's Spinach & Artichoke Hummus. Not a fan.
    • So Delicious Cashew Milk Salted Caramel Cluster. It's good, but I think it should just be called Caramel Cluster.
    • Chobani!! Ahh, they are so good. I've had peach, mango, lime, blackberry, and cinnamon pear so far, with like 5 more sitting in my fridge. The cinnamon pear one is not great - the pear bits were still crunchy.
    • Combat Crunch cinnamon roll protein bar. Not that good. So far, I only liked the chocolate chip cookie one. I also have the white chocolate raspberry in the cupboard.
    • Nature's Harvest 40 calorie light multigrain bread. Now, I normally eat Silver Hills bread, so this is obviously much different from what I'm used to (and I only bought it because I haven't found Silver Hills yet. Apparently I should go to Whole Foods). But seriously, this is a lot like eating toasted sawdust pressed into a sheet. I will definitely not buy it again.

Another product for the pumpkin lovers, not sure if it's a new product. I'm testing it out tonight over pasta.

Ooh - I think that's the same company that makes the mini spinach souffles and mini butternut squash souffles. They're tasty. A little high in calories for a side dish for me (I usually do steamed veg if I'm not doing a one-pot meal), but tasty.

    They're about 40 calories each.
