Be honest... you add 'hot' people

So this is why I have no friends0
-
I add people who are near me, if that helps.
Also... Mandurah, South of Perth.0 -
I only say yes to people who want progress. I'm very progressive.0
-
I add people who have personalities I enjoy.
Or are slutty.
Either one works.
Hilarious....honesty is the best policy after all.0 -
Hi
Who adds people based on how hot they look? & who doesn't add those who are not so hot?
I'll add hot people, but also if they have some value on here, (I.e. public food diary, interaction etc...) not just for the creepiness of looking at their pics.0 -
I add mostly everyone. I only discriminate for a few reasons - no profile photo, closed diary, kids that seem under the age of 18, and the folks that seem to be on the anorexic tract. Otherwise, they're being added. :drinker:0

Um, No.
Although I hear its like winning the lotto.0 -
I add anyone.
When they're hot its a plus.
Maybe I am missing something, but how is that "a plus"? How does it benefit you, in any way, for a MyFitnessPal friend to be hot? I never really got the impression that this was being used as either 1) a place to go OMGHAWT! and add people to drool over or 2) some sort of next-to-level dating site, but maybe I was mistaken.
Anyway, no. I've never added someone based on looks. If someone says they need a cheerleader or to have someone praise their progress, I'll friend them. If someone is on here to be told they're attractive, f that noise.0 -

Turns out guys like looking at, and talking to, attractive women. Crazy, I know.0 -
yep this is the reason i have added myself as a friend0
-
I'm not going to lie, "hot" people are more tempting, but in the end, I'd rather have a few "friends" than a whole ton that I never interact with. I'm approaching the point where even though I have less than 20 friends, I will delete people who haven't been online for a month.
There's also that whole issue of whether people send a message with their requests or not. Especially without a message, I go to look at their profile to see if we have anything in common or if they'll be a good support/conversation partner.0 -
Uh, no I add everyone. Why should I only add "hot" ppl? But truth be told, i do think that the female members who r my new friends r all pretty good-looking (u know who u r). Kudos to u all for taking care of urselves both inside & out!0
-
If a super hot guy friends me with a message I'll normally add him (though I'll add most people who send me a message unless it's creepy)... But if he isn't interactive or fun I'll drop him. I love the people on my friends list for more than the way their abs look.
Edit: Apparently my brain wasn't working because half of the first sentence didn't make sense.0 -
I don't add people based on their looks seeing as how this is not a dating site. I do delete those I don't interact with when I feel like my friends list is getting out of control I'm also one of those annoying people who posts a ton of personal stuff on my wall.0

It's not crazy *in person*. Part of being a human is finding other people attractive, and a lot of people gravitate towards those to whom they are attracted. But online? I don't get it. If you want to see people who are attractive, and see them dressed skimpily, why not go whole-hog and go to someplace like adultfriendfinder, or just go look at pornography? When you see the words someone has typed, are they somehow more appealing when you can refer to their carefully taken vanity photos to see that yes, they are "hot"?
Is the goal to meet up with the people you find attractive? Is it to skype with them or something? I'm not joking; I seriously do. not. get. it.0 -
I add people who look like they are having a lot of success on MFP so I can follow them as examples. There looks have nothing to do with it, but progress photos are helpful because I can see that they are doing well with their weight loss. I will also add people who have expressed interest in being friends because they need motivation. Once again, looks have nothing to do with it. I do however only have a few guy friends and I am choosy with who I add because I have had dudes add me and then flirt with me. I am here for being in shape and I am married, I'm not here to hook up.
Also, if I see people who have similar interests in movies, music, humor, etc. I will add them because I do like meeting new friends. I don't care what you look like, as long as you're cool and not mean.0 -
I like FR that come with creepy messages about how hot I am. If you are willing to flatter me and tell me nice things I will add you, but I will only kik you naked pictures if your hot.0

Yep. I likes what I likes. But, as I only have 3 friends, I'm not too serious about the process.0 -
