'67 Chevy Camaro w/factory air, 327, automatic...added a Craig 8 Track and 2 Jenzen rear speakers. Yellow body with a black vinyl top. Totally restored it when I was 16 (summer 1974) with my Dad. Very fond memories. Yes, back then we could afford to pay that out of our own pockets with jobs. Idiot for selling it. :noway:

A 1979 Plymouth Arrow Jet. Spitfire orange and flat black with a stick shift. I lived on a curvy gravel road and loved driving that car as fast as I could through those turns! I ended up totalling it on a straight stretch of paved road because someone turned in front of me. It was before seat belt laws so I was ejected from the driver's seat through the passenger window. I'm lucky to be alive!

    Wow, you really are.

The first car I ever owned was a '78 Mustang II... First car that I owned and actually managed to put on the road was a '81 VW Rabbit. I miss the old Rabbit, roof leaked, no exhaust, would randomly die but if you waited 5 mins it would fire back up and be fine... best POS car ever.

    1973 Ford Gran Torino Sport

My dad had a green Torino in the early 70's with the manual transmission on the steering column.
First and only time I've seen that.

    A purple Ford Ka.

It seems they are not available in North America.
It's a small city car. My boyfriend didn't really fit into it. Neither did a lot of other things, but I loved it anyway. It was a ferrari at heart.

The first car I bought and paid for myself was a 1978 Chevrolet Camaro SS - it was white, and I spent 800.00 to get it. (it was in 1987)

My first car was a 1979 Pontiac Grand LeMans station wagon. Bought it with my own money ($500) in 1995... it was a clunker (and gas guzzler), but it was one of my favorite cars I've ever owned and lasted me a little over a year!

Mine was an '86 Plymouth Horizon which my sister & I nicknamed it the "wh0re-izon". It would stall when we stopped at a light or stop sign so we'd have to keep on the gas while breaking. Eventually the axle broke as we were driving down the highway so it went to car heaven.

1964 Tan Chevrolet BelAir. Before the days of mandatory seat belts - I could get at least 7 - 8 other girls in that car for a Saturday night cruise around town. It was HUGE!
