I'm 39 lbs down from when I originally starting losing weight, 24 lbs since I started MFP in January. Some days are a sturggle, but one look at my before pictures makes me remember why I'm doing it all.0

Inspiring, truly each one of you.
SOMEDAY I too will post before/after pics; someday0 -
I randomly quit smoking in Feb. of 2013 (smoked a pack a day). In May of 2013 I became really determined to get into better shape. After a lot of drinks on cinco de mayo, I took drunk pictures of myself and looked at them thinking "it's time." It has been almost 3 months and I honestly have never felt better in my life. In these pics I'm wearing the same exact clothes. I haven't weighed myself at all because of the fear that it will discourage me. I feel confident enough to weigh myself soon thanks to myfitnesspal. My exercise routine? Walking/Jogging/Zumba about 45 mins a day at least 4 days a week. Besides the change in my physical appearance, I also feel better overall. My anxiety and depression has decreased dramatically ever since I began this journey. It will be my new lifestyle. I never in a million years would have ever seen myself eating right/exercising/not smoking this time last year. It's unbelievable what you're capable of doing when you really want to do it. I started at 175 lbs and I am 5'7''. Although I haven't weighed myself, I was wearing a size large shirt and can now fit in a medium/small...and I have gone down 2 pants sizes. I can't wait to see what more time will bring.

This is what I do
3x weights sessions per week. Started off with a weight that I could complete all sets with but which left me very fatigued my the last rep of the last set. Have slowly been increasing.
My weights sessions look like
- x4 sets of 12 reps chest press.
- x4 sets of 12 push ups
- x4 sets of 12 reps squats using 10kg medicine ball (i actually put a medium size fit ball between a wall and my back, this helps stabilise me on the way down and I almost have my butt touching the ground)
- x4 sets of 12 reps (each leg) of step ups using a gym bench
-x4 sets 12 reps wide grip assisted pull ups (or is it chin dips?? there's a machine at the gym I do this on)
- x4 sets 12 reps of lat pull downs (also using a gym at the machine)
1-2x cardio sessions per week. One of these will be HIIT for 15-20 minutes (40sec sprint, 20 second rest on the treadmill) followed by another 10-15 on the elliptical trainer. The other is usually a nice outdoor jog to get some sunshine
Also I try to eat clean most meals (I'd say 80-90% of the time).2 -
