A couple of weeks ago I posted on this board about my struggles losing weight and asked for insight on why I wasn't losing weight. Well I eagerly waited responses and was floored when I read what was being written in response. I felt I was being ganged up on, people getting a laugh at my expense! I ended up deleting my post, cried and ate an entire sleeve of Oreos. I was literally at rock bottom, looking for help and all I got was responses from mean girls wannabe' s. I wasn't going to write a response to how y'all made me feel. But after two weeks of going over that post in my mind, I just wanna say one thing:
THANK YOU!!! In all sincerity, thank you. I realized something from that post. I was looking for validation and coddling for my bad choices and that wasn't going to do me any good. The only one who didn't realize that was me. So I'm coming back to tell everyone thank you. Thank you for your honesty, thank you for your time, thank you for your suggestions and mostly thank you for responding. I didn't accept your suggestions as anything but mean bc lets face it, what I was doing wasn't working and how could I be wrong!!
So I apologize for being such a jerk to some of you. And I thank you all for kicking my butt into the right direction.... errrrr right road to reaching my goals.
Oh and if this post shows up twice it's because I typed it out and it seemed to disappear. So I'm typing it again.

It's not everyday we get to see a post like yours! That's great! Not everyone is a meanie. Some are very blunt in their answers, but they do want to help. Keep the good work missy!

I'm glad to hear that you were able to take a step back and think about what was said to you after the emotions went away. Keep doing what you need to do and you will get to your goal!

WOW!!! I didn't read/see your first thread, but I have to say your post here shows your maturity.

Because you're willing to accept you might be wrong and are open to considering other POVs, I have every confidence you've got this. You will succeed.

I wish you the very best on your journey!!

You are amazing!! I am so happy to see this. You, my friend, are leagues ahead of many, many people here, because you have accepted that YOU are responsible for you. This thread should be stickied, and be the auto-response to every post where people ask for help and then get butt-hurt because they're being told the truth.

Great start to taking care of you :)

Some of these photos made me laugh. Congratulations on realizing sometimes we need tough love. Myself included. When you mess up it's nifty to have someone pat you on the head but if all you get is sweet little pats nothing is ever going to change. You need to kick YOURSELF, don't rely on internet strangers to do it for you.

You are going to do this. Because it is all about being honest with yourself, and you just hit it out of the park. Many of us struggled way too long with deluding ourselves and wasting a lot of time which could have been used to reach our goals. The right attitude is half the battle.
