Things people should not be doing at the gym:
    1. Eating chicken soup on the Stairmaster.
    2. Hanging their undies in the squat rack
    3. Doing their taxes on the spin bikes
    4. Drinking champagne in the locker rooms

    Sweating is ok. I think.

what about sex and champagne in the locker room???

You're confused about number 4. I fully condone this provided the person shares.

I'm a person that sweats alot. After 10 minutes on the elliptical the sweating begins. I like sweating when I'm working out, it makes me feel like i've put in good effort. However, No matter how much I'm sweating I will NOT wipe it off until i'm done or if it's in my eyes. I will lose concentration if I'm wiping every 2 seconds.

Also, I've been a member of my gym going on 6 years and I have NEVER been hit by sweat while on a machine Or even when in Zumba, Spin, Step, Kickboxing.

Point of clarification--would it be okay for the person to spread the champagne buffet all over the counter/bench in said locker room?

I will dramatically fling your champagne flutes and chocolate covered strawberries to the floor if I need the sink

Yes, because it is rude to hog the space with your stuff! How dare people put their stuff in MY gym space!

Can't say that I have. I have seen a milk drinker. I was just thankful he didn't start running.

You go to the gym to sweat. Just be courteous and wipe the machine down when you are done. Haven't you heard the saying, "If you still look pretty leaving the gym, you didn't do it right"

    sweat wipe repeat

Proper etiquette would dictate that you wipe it down when you're done, not as you go.

You would hate me I sweat immensely and I mean after my work out I look like I just jumped in the pool. I have yet found out how to turn off my sweat glands. If this offends you find another machine. Or another gym. Now a while back due to some other issues I had really bad gas (that is another story)

The sad reality is actually that there is no champagne in the sex room.

    "sweat alarm"

or their new slogan will be:

    "no sweat/no judgment zone"
