Also - Does anyone know an easy way to set up digital scales? Apparently I weigh differently depending on which corner of the room I'm in!
The best way to be consistent is to weigh on a flat hard surface. So don't do it on any carpets and don't do it on a part of the floor that is caving or has bumps. But regardless, as long as you weigh yourself in the same spot every time then it'll be consistent enough to see what kind of progress you're making.0 -

Same as the others, I'm looking for motivation / inspiration and talking about recipes, different kinds of foods and how to control binge attacks as well as finding alternatives to things that make you fat (e.g. foods that aren't really worth the calories). Just finding out stuff on ourselves. I'm doing a monthly update on my progress (usually around the 12th of every month), talking about what I changed and, well, how my progress makes me feel, although I've been on mfp only for 1 1/2 months. I just want to have some people to chat with, maybe helping each other with struggles (emotional, psychological, whatever)
Be warned though, as I can be moody sometimes and talk a lot (often with terrible grammar mistakes, because English isn't my first language).
I won't be offended if people unfriend me suddenly.
