    I just started MFP yesterday (although signed up in April). I am logging all my food and trying to keep in 1200 - 1500/day. So far so good, but again it is only day 2 :) I have made up my mind to get healthy! Honestly, I watch shows like Extreme Weight Loss and Biggest Loser and wonder why I haven't started. Well, that has changed.

    GW: 150 (I will get there!!!!)
    My main motivation: My 4 year old son with enormous amounts of energy! I want to be a healthy mom that can keep up! Plus, I would like to say that I weigh less than my husband and get to buy clothes in the cute section of the store :)

    Calorie Goal: 1850 - I started off my first 2 weeks doing 1200-1300 cals..& then I figured out I was starving myself once I couldn't sleep anymore....losing the same as I was at a higher caloric intake now.

    This is week 8 for me & I am embracing this as a lifestyle change. I walk &/or swim on all my days off. Another few pounds I plan on getting a trainer & hitting the gym.

    I bounce between 200-215 (at 5' it isn't good).

    Not sure what I weigh right now... My goal is to phase out soda and phase in water to start. Hopefully up my energy levels! Please add me, because I know I am going to need the support/kick in the pants!

    *sighs and raises hand* Sadly, I am. I'm currently at 207 pounds. It seems to be all centered around my middle because I'm perfectly normal from the chest up. I only need to loose 40-50 pounds to get to my ideal weight for my height of 5 ft 10 but its a tough goal to reach when the slightest exercise leaves me winded.

    Only just losing weight after 2 years of failure.
    Changed the amount of carbs/protein/fat ratio.

    Lost 6lbs in 3 weeks and very happy :)

    Try Crystal Light- its only 5 calories per 8oz serving. I drink it every day at work. Sure its not 100% sugar free but calorie wise its very low and its sweet. Id have to drink more than 10 glasses to even reach the calories in 8ozs of soda. :)
