    Weight lost/gained this week: - 0.5lb
    Weight lost/gained this month: - 6lb

Successes/struggles this week: I've actually met goal - first time ever in one of these challenges! So any losses in the next 3 wks will be a bonus. Struggling a bit with body image - water retention & feeling huge - wish I'd started so much earlier. A blip though and I won't let it derail me - overall consistency for the month that's the aim - just keep going.

    Successes/struggles this week:
I had a weigh-in where the difference between days was +5 lbs (thanks, ramen noodles and sodium!). I, per usual, got very flustered about it and upset, only to find the scale went back to normal the day after. Learned a lot about myself right there, and that I need to not focus on a number so much as overall health. And it's my birthday on the 17th, so I'm learning that it's okay to have a cheat day!

8days using MFP/Mapmyrun/Mapmywalk and Meal Prep . Effective!
My very first time running (ever in my life) I am learning to embrace the pain lol. Did 3days straight in a row and almost completed 3k on Wednesday (run with a coworker during lunch breaks).

Today, Saturday I did 2.3k all by myself hehe.

Struggles this week: So I've had a hard couple weeks. Not feeling it, getting lazy. (And getting sick this whole week so I've put myself up a couple hundred cals to try and deal with this retched cough.) But basically, I'm just crashing motivation wise.

    Successes:
Last weekend I rearranged my closet. I now have a HUGE stack of clothes for the thrift stores because I can't wear them. I can't fit into any of the size 22 or size 20. Instead my wardrobe now has size 18/16. And my 18's jeans are starting to get loose.

Monday I started teaching my puppy a new game- tag. She loves to take the balls at the dog park and be chased by other dogs/ chase other dogs. So I say tag and she runs cheekily by me and tries to let me get her. Or I say tag and she chases me and "bops" me with her nose when she gets me. It goes back to her cattle dog heritage, she's a full blood Kelpie. So herding is rather instinctual and she's fast. For me to play this game- I'm running around inside like I crazy person. That whole joke about nobody running in my family- well I'm starting to. Hopefully with my asthma treatment I might be able to start running outside.

Wednesday I had my dr. appointment. She wanted to check up on my new asthma treatment. (Which has been absolutely amazing) My cholesterol has gone down. It was only by like .4 or something but the point is it went down. She said that is a very positive sign and it means I might be able to avoid medication. This is just ****ing huge! 4 years ago my previous doctor started trying to medicate me for my cholesterol. I went on 4 different drugs, each of which I reacted to - quite painfully, before stopping and saying no more. I'm done. My new doctor feels like a cheer leader- she's got hope and faith and that's pretty cool.

Friday I was able to walk to and from the store with my puppy and my husband (who used his scooter because it's a big walk and we set a fast pace). Biggest walk my puppy has had and honestly if it wasn't for my cough that is still hanging around I probably wouldn't have had to use my inhaler.

Saturday- I wore my stretchy size 16 slacks with leggings underneath and they still fit well. I was able to narrow done some of my food issues some more. So, in addition to being allergic to wheat, I cannot handle onions, cream, or milk. Hard cheeses seem okay, but soft ones are still questionable. This trial and error sucks, but knowing what makes you sick is the first step to getting healthier.

All of my small little victories has helped remind me why I'm here: my goal is to get healthy and I am getting there. I'm finally seeing real progress- not just numbers on the scale or clothes (although that's nice). My lungs are changing, my blood work is changing, and I feel (well with the exception of this cold) so much healthier. Next week, as per my cheerleader's instructions I'm going back to exercising 5 times a week. I'm going to get my cholesterol well under 5.0, where it should be.

Had a bad 2nd week despite exercising every day. Ugh!!! Watched what I ate but too much going out.
Back on track this week - no more going out.
Not sure if I will still be able to reach my goal but will push myself.
