Top (then): 26/28 (now) L/XL, Bottom (then): 24/26 (now) 14/16. I still have a ways to go but I'm happy I'm not where I was.

I was previously an XL/1X in my tops, and I'm now a S/M (depends on the cut and whether it's made in junior's or women's). I was previously a size 18/20 bottom, and I'm now an 8/10.

I couldn't buy any clothing in regular stores when I started. I'm generally a medium, size 8-10 or 28-30 in pants.

My biggest size for pants was a 16 (which were, admittedly, loose), and now I'm in that weird inbetween where 12's are pretty baggy and loose but 10's are uncomfortably tight (but I can zip them!). Tops used to be large and now I can buy a medium!!!! I even have a dress in Medium!

    I was in a "I can't breathe it's so tight" 16, now in a comfortable 10. 45lbs lost on a 5'3" frame.

Then: a tight 16 in bottoms, 12 in tops. Only 10 lbs down, but now a not-tight 16 in bottoms and looser 12 in tops. That's how I realized it was time to buckle down -- I didn't want to go up to an 18 or plus size, and I stepped on the scale and saw I had hit 200.

I started out as tight size 18, more likely a 20, in pants.
    Shirts x-large

    Now:
Pants: size 0-4, depending on brands
Shirts x-small to mediums, depending on brands

    Shoes:
    8 1/2 to 7 1/2

26/28 then; 14/16 now. I'd like to be a 10/12, so miles to go.

    pant = (sw) 4 and 4 (now)
top = medium and medium (now)...

I think I see a strange trend here with me that I have made no progress....

Wait, no I have, I lost 9 pounds but gained muscle and my body totally shifted in places I thought gravity took over...

    pant-22/24 then and a 12/14 now
top-18/20 then and now a L or sometimes XL depending on brand.
I would LOVE to get into single digit pant sizes. Never seen those since I was a kid.

    I was an XL in tshirts and a 12/14 in jeans. I'm now comfy in a L (I can wear a M I just don't) and wear an 8/10 jeans. I'm also 5'10.

I started in a 18/20 pants and 2XL/1XL tops. I have lost 65 lbs and have only moved down 1 size... 16/18 pants, and XL tops. Talk about frustrating!

    At 230lbs I was in way-too-tight 18 jeans and XXL t-shirts. Today at 175lbs I bought comfortable 12 and slightly-too-tight 10 jeans and M shirts and dresses.

Here's the thing about these sizes, though. The last time I was near my goal weight of 150lbs was 30 years ago (!!!). And then I was wearing 14s.

Vanity sizing is weird. The idea that I might actually get into a size 8 by the time I reach my goal is weird. I'll be out-of-control excited about it, but it is weird.

At 240 pounds I wore 18/20 and 1X or larger for tops. Lost about 50 or so depending on the day / week. Currently wearing a comfortable 12 and some 10's in pants. For tops it is usually a large or medium depending on the style. :)

Jeans: waist 28 and length 32.
Tshirts: small (too short though). So I usually wear mediums which are baggy/loose.

I was in TIGHT size 22 pants and XXL tops at my heaviest of 252. 60 pounds later I'm in 16 pants (I have my Grandma's wide hips) and Medium or size 14 tops. I want to lose another 10 pounds and maybe I can get into a size 14 pants, not holding out a lot of hope though, thanks Grandma! ;)

    At my biggest, I was a size 24. I am now a size 6.
    Vanity sizing is weird.

True enough. I was at Kohl's last weekend and was fitting into the vast majority of 6/8 pants just fine. But then I tried on this one pair of 8s that was easily more like a 12 or 14. I kept looking at the tag...no way those were 8s, yet it said they were 8s. Now I understand to some extent how people were claiming to fit into sizes way below what I could at the same weight/height. It was shocking.

Pants 16 was getting too tight - now 14s are too big and 12s too tight to wear in public, hate the inbetween sizes phase.

Tops XL -now L, I never go below a M in tops due to genes, all us gals in the family are that way.
I can however get into an old size 12 dress that is still in the closet, I could wear it out, it fits nicely.

I have lost 22 lbs so far, got another 18 to go. I'm 5'3".

I'm only partially there, but it still counts right?
I lost 47 lbs (308 to 261) and was a size 26/28 tops and now 18/20 tops and sweaters are starting to fit. I was a pretty tight 24 work pants and 26 jeans and am now 20 work pants and 22 jeans.
Last time I lost 65 lbs and just about fit in 16 tops and 18 jeans so that's my next stop.
