So you eat a bad meal and then force poop it out???? Wow....
Hi, maybe if you looked it up instead of remaining ignorant you'd understand.
Also, I've had my large intestines surgically removed, so the tea doesn't work like that.
It's labelled as a teatox, but that doesn't mean it's a laxative. Maybe do your research before commenting.
Thanks, but I don't need magical tea toxes to lose weight...I can do that through calorie deficit and lifting....0 -

Their website offers no real information. Their "teas" look gross and are expensive. I'll stick with my vanilla chai, and I'll continue to save money while losing weight with a calorie deficit.
Also, you can't detox your body with a tea.0 -
For that price, you could pay for 3-4 months of gym memberships, a bunch of dance classes, several healthy feasts for all of your friends, a weekend hiking getaway, etc.
Glad you decided against it OP.0 -

There’s no published research to show teatoxes are safe or effective for weight loss or anything else. But since they are considered dietary supplements rather than foods, the companies behind them don’t need to prove any of the claims listed on the labels.
It’s also important to make sure the products’ ingredients are safe. An ingredient of concern found in three of the four teatox brands reviewed is senna leaf. This herb is approved by the Food and Drug Administration as a nonprescription laxative used to treat constipation and to clear the bowel before a colonoscopy.
According to the National Institutes of Health, there’s insufficient evidence that senna promotes weight loss. But it does irritate the stomach lining to produce a laxative effect and can contribute to stomach discomfort, cramps, and diarrhea. Using it for more than two weeks (as you would following most teatox plans) is discouraged since it can cause abnormal bowel function or changes in electrolyte levels that can lead to heart problems, muscle weakness, liver damage, and other harmful effects. Since our bodies naturally cleanse and purify themselves by processing and eliminating them through sweat, urine, and feces, using laxatives like senna if there’s no real medical need seems like a waste (forgive the pun).
Drink water, sip on regular tea if you enjoy it, be more active, and get enough sleep. Doing all of that is likely to be healthier and safer than taking a chance on an unproven and potentially unsafe concoction.
Tiny Tea doesn't contain senna leaf but why would you pay so much for a glorified herbal tea? The ingredients do not have magical properties and are easily obtainable at much cheaper prices else where.
If you are still interested I have some magical beans for sale.
ETA: I enjoy herbal tea occasionally, chamomile helps me relax and peppermint tea can help with an upset stomach, but I pay a reasonable price for them and am realistic about the properties they have.0 -

Don't forget add the ice cream and chocolate bars to that shopping list.0 -

Let her answer the question.
I'll take a stab at it.
It contains...
Cassia (cinnamon) which can soften stool ergo easier time pooping causing weight loss on the scale but not really loss of actual fat.
Lotus leaf: There are claims that lotus leaf can reduce edema (water retention) once again no real fat loss.
Camellia Sinensis (tea): diuretic–meaning you’ll urinate more, which will reduce water weight.
Barley: fiber, more poop.
White tea: diuretic (again)
Adzuki Bean: soluble fiber (more poop)
So basically you will see a weight loss from pooping and the diuretic effects of the tea, not exactly ground breaking stuff here.
Drink water and get plenty of fiber in your diet, save your money.

I can't even have a sense of humor about the word "teatox." Of all the odious, puerile neologisms, that one just gets me. It's worse than nails on a chalkboard. It's like Satan's grimy bloodcrusted nails on a chalkboard made of the ground-up souls of chrisom children, forever.
Teatox, ffs. Whoever came up with that should be the first one into the stocks when they return to the public square, offal-throwing and all.0 -
