Should I buy a waist trainer? Apparently that amateur porn star and all round narcissistic attention junkie, Kim Kardashian, swears by them.

Or should I just not be an utter clown and refuse to be swayed by the dumb s**t celebs come out with?

You're so mean. We really believe in this. So thanks everyone who has been positive and helpful and told me what I want to hear. Those of you who tell me what I don't want to hear are mean and nasty and I'm going to sulk and tell you to get off my thread.

    Snigger.

Also I'm addicted to sugar. Seriously - I actually melt it in a spoon and then mainline it.

Is it bad that I sometimes turn tricks to feed my habit?

You're only hardcore when you do that with ALL carbs. Try mainlining mashed potatoes and selling your first born to get a piece of bread and then we'll talk.

Sugar is totally why you put 11lb on overnight. It's the devil in a white dress

You guys are a hoot! The one's that really get me are the diet pill commercials where down at the bottom in tiny letters it says, "this combined with proper diet and exercise" Well, duh!

But....can't I make it go faster if I take some supplements? I want to lose a ton of weight by summer so I can look good in a swimsuit and go back to eating normally.

so this is the issue - there is no such thing as going back to eating normally if you return to the same bad eating habits. MFP is a lifestyle change and it is normal. the maintenance part lets you add back in some calories but you can never go back to eating "normally"

The problems is that so many people have really wacky ideas about what "normal" looks like. It's apropos that the abbreviation for Standard American Diet is SAD.

I got serious response to my joke comment! Do I win some kind of prize? Lifetime supply of cayenne pepper? All the green coffee beans I can handle?
