Pfft, I look amazing.
Kididing of course.
This guy is rocking it. I have tank top envy now.

Idgaf what people think bout my tanks, BUT I know that I get hit on way more when I'm out shopping wearing a tank vs regular t-shirt.
Obviously wouldn't wear it to a club, work or restaurant, but most other places I wear them
I break all the rules. Apparently.
Of course, I am woman (HEAR ME RAWR), and therefore the rules don't apply to me.

FWIW... I pay up when I get caught... I just don't get caught often... And I probably just jinxed that.0 -
Maybe someone could enlighten me on this current trend of manbuns. They seem to go along with full beards and the bun can be on any part of the head...actually saw pig tails last night at volleyball but since he's a giant nobody gave him the gears.0

OMG - can't say I can enlighten you as I don't think I've ever seen it - yet. Doesn't sound appealing. As for tanks - some can do it, some ....just.....can't. If a guy looks awesome in a tank - they may get a smile. If not.....I will try not to look. Mostly I don't even care, but if you look hot in a tank - I'll probably say so.0 -
Tank tops are meant for cross country runners.0

It's THIS!!! Now dress him in capris and that would just be the icing on the cake.

well... speaking as someone who has long hair... the only time I wear a bun is when I'm boxing, because when I'm drilling the heavy bag, I hate my ponytail whipping around and getting in my way. But even then, it's low and tucked under a head rag.
So...um... maybe it's a functional thing0 -
Perhaps but I've just never seen that look before until recently.0

well.. judging from the knit cardigan he's wearing, he's probably not planning on boxing either.
he has very pretty hair.0 -
They always do...plus they most often get the long gorgeous eye lashes too0

There was a guy at college with me who wore a bun (apparently it's been a thing for ages, I'm old) and it looked fantastic on him - couldn't imagine him any other way. He is, however, the only person I've ever seen pull it off well.
Agreed, bun > ponytails for working out. No fun getting the pony caught under the bar while squatting, either.0 -
Guys AND girls should be able to wear whatever the hell they want! as long as it doesnt break dress codes for work or special occasions or fancy restaurants.0

What are your opinions? I'm gonna be honest, until recently, I would have said "Maybe to the beach or pool", but lately, I wear them more. I know it's nothing but me being vein, but I don't care. I know we have a diversified bunch on this board. Hell, Niner would probably wear a tank to a black tie event. Why would DieselByte ever put a shirt on at all?
So what have you? When is it acceptable for a guy to wear a tank top in your opinion?
only if he shaves his armpits ....
Ew.
I like my men with a little body hair. A guy that shaves his arms, armpits, legs, or pubes is a huge turn off for me.
Really?? I don't need full body shaving, but manscaping is definitely appreciated.0 -
As long as you're comfortable in your own skin and the situation is appropriate why the heck not?0
