Seriously impressive weight being thrown around here! I can hang with a few of the women, though. :bigsmile:0
-

new at powerlifting..soo
deadlift..315
bench press 245
squat 275
Goal..all three lifts at 315!0 -
I don't know if its good or bad because I hadn't lifted since high school but I did 3 sets of reps on the free weight leg press at 300 lbs? I was going to add more but I chickened out because that just seemed to heavy But I know that particular lift allows more weight because its centralized just on the legs... Goal today is to see if I can beat that...0

A 1RM, or one rep max, is the heaviest amount of weight you can lift for a single rep. Usually tested as the best out of three attempts so as not to exhaust your body with a lot of warm up sets. Some people use their training max though, the highest single rep weight they get to during their working sets, which is a pretty conservative estimate of their true 1RM.0 -
54 year old man, 228 lb. bodyweight, pulled a (easy) 400 lb. deadlift last friday. You couldn't wipe the grin off my face the rest of the day. I wanna shoot for a double bodyweight (~450 lb.) in the near future.0

On a calorie deficit and while doing supersets. Currently at 169lbs. 17.5% bodyfat
Bench I superset with pull ups and lunges: Max 225lbs x 2
Squat supersetted with OHP: Max 335lbs x 3
Dead on the same day as squat: 345lbs x 10 -
27 years old 220lbs 6ft 1 (just over 8 months into training)
1RM
BENCH - 420lbs
DEADLIFT - 440lbs
SQUAT - 460lbs
CLEAN & PRESS - 280lbs
STRICT (BACK AGAINST THE WALL) BARBELL CURL - 165lbs
The squat needs working on as I only got a squat rack back in late January (I was home training on a tight budget mainly). I used to carry my 230lb cousin up & down my stairs as my main workout for legs beforehand. Also had a work related lumbar injury which hindered the deads but no use complaining just fight the f*** on!

I'm not particularly strong but for my size (5'6") I do OK.
Max-
Bench- 225x5
Squat- Cant do them due to back issues but I can leg press 600+
Deads- Never do to much because of back issues but I can get 385x4 without pain if I don't do it often.
Curl- ~100 on a straight bar for a couple reps0 -

We've all got our strengths brother. Originally I was aiming for ripped like yourself but a long the way I felt strength became my real focus above all. But you don't get a physique like yourself without damn hard work so don't sweat it, you should see what some of my hopefully future pro competitors are lifting! I'm barely starting to crawl compared to them lmao0 -
Started Stronglifts on 4/1/13...
Squat 110
OH 45
Bench 50
Rows 70
Deadlift 150
I've had to deload and been stuck on OH & bench for, well since forever it seems like. I did start out with a 25lb bar.
Tonight is routine "a" and we shall see how it goes.0 -
BW of 203 lbs.
605 Deadlift
BB Row, strict form, 315x3
Bench: too embarrassing to post  If it was decent, I'd be competing in Powerlifting comps. But...it sucks.0 -
body weight 138.6
height 5'8"
bench 225
squat 350
deadlift 4050 -
Ya'll make me feel like a wuss! So awesome though!0

Before I got put into the hospital by extreme illness, my best lifts were:
C&J - 165lbs (75kg)
Snatch - 135lbs (60kg)
Back Squat - 210lbs (92.5kg)
Front Squat - 178lbs (80kg)
Clean Shrug - 225lbs (105kg)
Snatch Pull - 178lbs (80kg)
I love lifting, and I'm definitely trying to work back to these numbers!! The road is a long one, though. The struggle is real!! lol x)0 -

just to clarify, are we all talking about comp legal lifts here? ie. paused bench, at least parallel squat and a no hitch DL.0
-
I lifted a finger today.
Aaaaand did my shake weights. Yep.

I lifted a fork long enough to eat my dinner0

My bench is not paused (no bounce though and touching chest so would be ok for some), the others are comp legal including no knee action on the OHP0
