While technically not album art, perhaps the very first Picture Discs.
Those old enough to remember will understand. And for the younger generation, you'd probably never believe it.0 -
From your cereal boxes. I remember getting some of those but I don't have them any more.0

There is a CD version of this but I have the DVD. I highly recommend it.0

I love Jim Croce. My mom used to listen to him when I was little.0

Have You Heard JIM CROCE Live
I have both the CD and DVD. Also his Live: Final Tour. Plus the original studio stuff - You Don't Mess Around With Jim, Life and Times and I Got A Name. And a couple Greatest Hits CDs. I just could never find The Faces I've Been on CD. He was Great!
Great DVD and Live CD collection! Nice pick.0 -
I love this cover. It is "borrowed" from the the 1951 science fiction movie THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL. One of my absolute favorite movies! And I should mention, among the many great songs on this album is the song that was on the B-side of Ringo's hit 45 "No No Song". The song written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin: "SNOOKEROO".0

Is there a sound track to "Caveman"?
Here's a super famous album cover.

This link is to an article talking about the picture and the conspiracy theories that came from it:

Paul's not dead! This was, by far, one of my favorite live albums, if not favorite albums, when I was growing up in the seventies!
McCartney was unstoppable! He left that other band and just kept churning out the hits and unbeatable albums. Check out the line up of songs on this set. When this album was originally released, it was a 3 album collection (later released on two CDs). It was a gatefold album cover with an awsome inside center graphic that I always wanted as a mural on my wall. (never happened.)

And to top it off, this album included a double sided poster. CDs, let alone mp3 downloads, just can't compare!0 -
Mine is on my ticker, and happens to be a tatoo on my ankle also!!

Here's a classic album from my youth. I could swear it had a blue background back then and not red like shown here. Does anyone else remember blue?0

I don't remember BOOK OF DREAMS ever being blue.
Could this be the album you're thinking of?
A great greatest hits! Also a classic.0 -

I had this one on 8-track. (Carpenters only on vinyl)
Did anyone else wedge a matchbook in with the tape so it would play and not drag?0 -
I never had a matchbook but yeah, I improvised something. We had nine kids in the family so I just had my little brother hold it with his finger.
Here's a classic album cover. I never really listened to Pink Floyd, but the album cover transcends the music.0
