So let me get this right. No one can have a preference or you're just not allowed to indicate your preference? Which of those criteria qualify as body shaming?

    There's a difference between, "I prefer ____," and "No one wants ____."

    Exactly

I like big butts and Men like big butts is different. BTW not all men like big butts. I think I know why some don't.

Also funny thing though is my older brother, we have entirely different taste in women.

Hubby likes curves, thank heavens. Even when lean, I still look thick. I've got fairly heavy muscles on a not-tiny frame. Good ol' Italian fireplug, me. lol

    Exactly.

I find it funny to think that there was a guy not too long ago that made a thread about how he didn't want to have sex with "a whale" and he got totally jumped on, not for his preferences, but for the derogatory use of the word to describe overweight/obese people.

So why would it be okay to call someone dealing with underweight issues a derogatory name?

    Hint: It isn't.

By calling her a "bag of hangers" you are dehumanizing her. Frankly, I'm sure there are people out there who are attracted to her so for you to say that no one wants a "bag of hangers" and then use her image as an example is wrong on multiple levels.

And those are still people with feelings and opinions. They may think you are disgusting for allowing yourself to gain 80 pounds more than you should weigh. I don't see how it is acceptable to say horrible things about another person's body. Would you feel comfortable with people saying things like that about you?

Not to mention you are "talking" about someone with a mental issue/disorder.

I think before you should care how a man thinks of your body, you should be happy with it first. If your not change it for yourself no one else. Be happy, life's to short :)

Ok. Excuse me while i carve a statue of you into the side of a mountain with my bare hands to create an alter for myself and others to worship your morality.

Keep ethic shaming people, It reflects well on your humor and personality.

Keep body shaming, it says a lot about your character.

Thick. Because men like curves, not stick figures.

Even if he is joking his usage of words makes it worst.

Still, that's a pretty generic statement... that poster wasn't insulting anyone in particular. If anyone internalized it as an insult, it says more about that person than the poster.

No thank you. I'm not really the statue type. What you can do is maybe learn from your mistakes instead of trying to deflect attention away from yourself and possibly even apologize at some point for being flat out wrong.

Not to me by the way. I couldn't care less about your apology, but that woman in the picture is still a woman.

Right. So you'd be okay if someone came on here and said no one wants to have sex with a fatty?
