So I see this guy jogging on the street at 1:30 AM

I would assume he works irregular hours and is doing his best to find time to exercise.0
-
It's only crazy if it's an unsafe neighborhood. I would run at 1:30 AM as well if I feel restless due to lack of exercise.0
-
Get it in when you can, I suppose....I've run around 3:30 am before...0
-
I sometimes workout around 1:00-2:30am0

Me too... Workout when you can!0 -
I'd do it. I bike around 11pm or midnight anyways. It's nice and peaceful0
-
was he wearing gloves and a mask and holding a TV over his head?0
-
what are you doing that you are watching joggers at 1:30 am....0
-
Why is it crazy? Maybe he works a different shift? I bet it's nice and cool at night, plus little no car/foot traffic. It's win/win.0
-
Around here that is a great time to go running.0
-
Not everyone works 9-5 and can exercise at 'regular' times....it's a big wide world out there after all....we don't all live the same lifestyle.0

^
I wait or my kids to go to bed before I work out or leave the house to work out. That way i dont take more time away from them. So I dont really leave my house till 9, and then jog a the track until abput 1030 pm. Suprisingly, there's people there after me as well.0 -
In Texas during the summer that's the best temperature you're gonna get all day! When I did marathon training sometimes I'd start at 1-2 am to beat the heat!0
-
Maybe he wasn't running for exercise as much as he was running for safety.
That brings to mind a new TV show idea: "Survival Inner City".0 -
I used to work till 2:00 AM and had to get a walk/jog outside at around 3 AM. What of it? Its peaceful, quiet and relaxing. If you thought it was weird to jog at 1:30 AM, you'd think of me as crazy if I tell you I used to jog at 3 AM in Michigan while it was snowing or raining outside with slippery roads. You gotta do what you gotta do.0

BWAHAHA he was like 600 -

geting off work and passed him on my way home... just shocked me, never seen it before0 -
I'm not a night owl, but I'd love to run at that time. It's cooler, quieter, lower humidity, there's hardly any traffic... sounds like heaven.0

I get it, but it just shocked me, come on...1:30 am I get working out at the gym that early, but jogging outside...now I have seen everything. lol0 -

I would like to petition the courts to seal this under the "Mind Your Business Act" of 2009.
Seriously, why on earth would it shock you? Is 1:30 am not a good time to go jogging? What IS a a good time?0 -
I personally think that is crazy, what do you think?
i personally think he's making the time necessary to stay fit and get some exercise.
good on him. clearly he's not of the "wahhhhhhh i dont have time to exercise" mindset.0 -

I often go for midnight walks here in Cali and often went for 2:00am walks in Michigan during the winters. I prefer walking at night because it is more peaceful.0 -
I really wish I cared.0

If he feels safe doing it. I know I wouldn't. Then again that would require me being AWAKE at that time as well!0

I think you need to do some traveling if this is what you think.0 -

Doubt it. In my old neighborhood we had a kid who was crazy and he went and sat on his kitchen stove butt naked while it was burning. Even after seeing that I can't say I've seen everything.0 -

This is around the time I usually leave my friends house if I am leaving early. Leaving my friends house at around 4 am is leaving late for me. So I see no problem with someone running, jogging, or walking between 1 am and 2 am.0
