            7/1 - 1.65 miles
I am also just starting the C25K training so I was impressed with what I did on day 1! Doing something is better than doing nothing!0

I'm in! Need a goal to help me stay motivated. Since I'm newer and just trying to get consistency right now - I'm in for 30.0

Thanks Stan. This helps a lot of folks0

7/1 - 1.75mi Today was going to be a rest day because my quads are tight and sore but I did it. It was slow and I went on a sandy path instead of pavement to see if it helped and I do feel a little better.
 1.75 done and 28.25 to go.0

Lol, same for me, but it's been so hot here I wouldn't have been able to start.0

It's a little north of me but too close. :-) Very funny video.
Huntsville area is described as a northern city stick in the middle of the south. But once you go a few miles outside the area's urbanisque borders, you soon realize you are in a different land very quickly.

Thank you everyone for the compliments @karllundy That's awesome! I just love this combination of two names, and once I suggested it to my husband, he would not even consider any other names! @karllundy That's awesome! Let's get serious now, shall we?

I'm in for 35 miles for July, I failed miserably in June due to a dodgy ankle, but hopefully can get back on track this month [img][/img] 0 [img][/img] 0

Last month I came in just shy of my 200km goal at 198.25km. Since I've now had "the" summer cold, I don't expect to be sidelined so much this month and am really aiming for my stretch goal or more. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Month to date: 009.99 km (4% of Goal) Goal: 200.00 km / 124 miles Stretch Goal: 242.00 km / 150 miles +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Wed Jul 01 09.99 km Happy Canada Day run with my sweetie! I know what you mean. I'm in southern Oklahoma. We're a little more redneck than this backwoods bunch. Although, I dated a guy for 5 years that was in a pickin' band...and raced modified lawn mowers. I'm high class 0 0

I started out the month with a 6.3 mile run in 1:11:00. It felt great, but my achilles pain came back (grrrrr...). The pain came on early but never got worse, and feels ok now, but it's there.
A great start to the month and best of all, I'm currently ahead of @Stoshew71 !!!! I'm going to revel in that for the rest of the night, because I know it won't last long!0

-
Started the month on plan. Two runs quicker than I was expecting I'd be able to do
 1/7 - 2.5k (followed by 7k on stationary bike)
 2/7 - 5.0k
 MTD total - 7.5k / 85k (9% completed)
Very confident that I'll hit my first months goal0
