What's a clean eating recipe?
Two sites I really like for recipes are: http://www.101cookbooks.com/ and http://www.epicurious.com/
Another fun one is http://www.foodandwine.com/recipes (you don't have to drink wine with them if you don't want).
I think http://www.chow.com/recipes is another good site for recipes, as is http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes.
Anyway, whatever you think "clean" is, you should be able to find many recipes that qualify from those sites.
There are bunches of good paleo sites too, which would probably also be "clean," however you define "clean."
This is actually a pet peeve of mine, since I have tons of cookbooks and I'm really not sure what would be "unclean" about them--stuff like 660 Curries or Roasting or VegetableLove or Essentials of Classic Italian Cooking or Julia Child's books or Mark Bittman's or Greene on Greens or about a million seasonal or ethnic-themed books. It seems like any good normal cookbook would be primarily "clean" so as usual the term is mostly just confusing and unhelpful.0 -

If you're not a foodie with lots of cookbooks like lemurcat and me, you could checkout http://www.cleaneatingmag.com/. If you subscribe, they will email you new recipes periodically. However, they're probably not any cleaner than the sites lemurcat suggested.0

Google clean eating recipes if that's what you're specifically looking for. I don't get that term personally.0

Boy people get real mad about that term. In my opinion it means meals created from whole foods rather than processed items that might contain items like corn syrup or other delicious but unhealthy if consumed a lot items. Marshmallow fluff would be not clean eating but an apple would.0

Everyone knows what clean eating means. Some just hate the term and like to argue the point

I am loving Deliciously Ella's blog at the moment: http://deliciouslyella.com/0

Why don't you ask for recipes? We know what that means.
Is it possible that most of the people on the board are eating dirty food?-1 -
Spaghetti squash with a garlic sauce with your choice of protein. I love it with shrimps.
garlic dill salmon on a bed of asparagus in a pouch on the BBQ.
These are my two favs. currently.
Yum.\0 -
Mud, dirt, stick and rocks are a favourite. They're clean, right???-1

And again why would you need special cookbooks to find recipes from whole foods?
People must have really weird cookbooks or something.0 -
I semi recently got the "against all grain, meals made simple" cook book and seriously haven't had a bad meal from it yet! My favorite is the sausage aribata.0

Ignore the snipes.
I like "hot" salads (protein of your choice) with spuds or flatbreads (easy to make). It's tasty, nutrient rich and easy to make. It's great in the hot summer.
I also make a huge tray of roasted veg to last me 2-3 days and keep this in the fridge for snacks/sandwiches/wraps/ pasta etc.
Two easy things

Nah, bruh, you gotta wash that stick off first. It doesn't just come clean. I'm sure the mud and dirt will be fine if you mix a little bleach in with it.

Really I think it's that no one know what clean eating means-and therefore like to argue the point0 -

It can mean anything and therefore means nothing; on top of that it's neither necessary for health nor weight control. And the counterpart to clean will be unclean? It has moral connotations. That's why I dislike the term.

Yes.
The fact that it's confusing and no one knows what it means is demonstrated by the request for "clean" recipes. If I don't know why OP considers the recipes in a normal cookbook or website (like all the ones I mentioned in my original post) to be unclean, how can I know what she's trying to avoid?
If all you want is recipes based on whole foods, well, that's what most cookbooks involve, isn't it? (For example, the 101cookbooks site I mentioned is organized by ingredient, so I sometimes go there if I get something from the green market and want ideas. I also use Greene on Greens this way.) If you don't want to make sweets, avoid that section of the book or don't get a baking cookbook.0 -

Agree 100%. Was countering against the idea that we argue just to argue. "Clean eating" is just nonsense, IMHO0 -

Sometimes they look gross the next day, especially if you mix a whole bunch or something with a lot of color-but they still taste amazing.
My favorite is roasted squash, all kinds. Dab of olive oil, sliced zucchini, summer squash and dash of salt. Bake for 20 or so, flip, bake another 20. The texture and taste are fabulous. I also like to throw tomatoes on there-but it does give the veggies an odd color. Worth it for the taste. I even like roasted broccoli, cauliflower, mixed veggies, anything. Delicious.0 -

That's what it means to me, so (using your 'logic) that's what it means to everyone.
There's no one definition of "clean eating". It's a meaningless term.
That's why there are so many threads, so many fights, so many opinions.
If you want recipes for nonprocessed foods, say "I'm looking for recipes for nonprocessed foods".
Here's my favorite source for recipies for delicious food:
http://www.tasteofhome.com/
Hover over the 'recipes' tab & there's a popup where you can choose to search for a particular meal, or
ingredient, or cooking style, and over in the far right-hand column there's even a link for 'healthy recipes'.0 -

Or the instructions in their own texts for hindus, or muslims, or whatever other sect has rules about what &
how & when to eat.0 -
