This for me. Japanese food called Natto. Fermented Soy Beans

Makes me puke a little in my mouth just thinking about it.

That describes the taste of natto pretty well..

Se'a. It's a Samoan food. It's Sea cucumber guts that have fermented. Gross.

There's something from a sea cucumber that's WORSE than the actual sea cucumber flesh? Nasty.

    Hemp protein. ugh.

I second this. First time I tried to drink 5 table spoons in water and it was like quaffing saw dust mixed with sand. Then I thought I would mix some into oatmeal and this happened.

Luckily, I have since learned the maximum quantities to use it so that it doesn't interfere with the taste and texture of what I am eating.

Liver. It triggers my gag reflex ... strongly. It's the combination of texture and disgusting flavor.

    Calimari.

Oh... then I found out (rather promptly, by the way) that I have an anaphylactic allergy to the stuff.

I still have the scar from where the ER nurse jammed the hypodermic needle into my chest.

    Bad night all around.....

Oh no!! I'm glad you survived it!

The most disgusting thing I've ever eaten is fat free ice cream. I took a bite and just threw it out. It was sweetened whitish cream like crap. That stuff should be outlawed.

Mong-Ge. Which according to my Korean translator is "sea squirt". Raw.

It tasted like the ocean and had the texture of a blood clot.

Are they green and fuzzy and ready to be named? If not, they probably lack sentience =D (the shiritaki noodles in the fridge)

Cottage cheese. I had never tried it, but it just always looked disgusting. A coworker forced me to try a bite and just as I suspected, it tasted like wet, old cheese mixed with curdled milk. Sickening!! I wanted to punch her for making me taste it!

Chobani Honey Greek Yogurt. I LOVE honey in my greek yogurt, but this was like honey-flavored and no actual honey...had to pitch it.

I have been  and  reading this thread!!!

I abhor mushrooms, sauerkraut, asparagus, brussel sprouts, lima beans, and organ meats....

The hatred of all these things goes back to childhood I'm sure... But the most vivid memories of how the hatred began was the night mom served asparagus covered in cheese sauce, and I thought it was broccoli (yum!) so took a huge portion - in a "clear your plate or else!" household..... I'm sure vomiting happened later....

I despised brussel sprouts so much I would cut them in half (or quarters if they were really big), drench them in butter and sugar, and swallow them whole with a swig of water... (To this day I can take a handful of vitamins in one shot with a minimal amount of water!)
