    Got a dress I ordered today. I worried it would be too small but it actually fits a little loose. It's the first dress I've worn in almost 20 years.

    Thanks, hon. I've been wearing baggy clothes for so long that my son took me aside last week and practically begged me to get some new stuff that didn't make me look like I was melting lol. This dress is a curve-fitted ruched sheath of all things--not sure what I was thinking there. I'm taking my mom to Cirque du Soleil next month as an early bday gift, so I wanted to wear something special. But I might need to have it taken in just a bit by then.

    I helped a woman at the grocery store who was in one of those motorized carts. She couldn't reach a soup she wanted so I grabbed it for her. She was SO grateful that someone helped her. It made me smile.

    Seeing my Blue Tick Hound had folded himelf into a chair on the porch so he could enjoy the morning sun.
    The way my Lab Mix takes things from my hand so gently - I gave her a bone and she was so gentle and polite. Her name is Lady and it fits her.
