This is kinda weird that this is what gave me a smile but......
My toilets wouldn't flush yesterday or this morning.
The top off the clearout pipe for my sewer blew off, sewer running down the side of my house.
My neighbor comes over and tells me their toilets are overflowing too so, I know it's a city problem, refief.
I called the city and two very nice guys got the problem fixed down the street and cleaned up my yard,
all in about a hour.
Didn't cost me a dime.2 -
My Blue Tick hound Parker is a rescue. He's been here 2 years and for the first year, he was very standoffish. I think he was grieving for his owner that abandoned him plus he had heartworm when he arrived here and we went though that with him. So over a period of time, he's accepted us as home. This morning for the very first time, he came in all frisky and played with me. He downward dogged me, jumped around. I've always felt that his original owner kept him as a hunting dog, and probably never taught him to play. So this really made me smile today.1
