    Went to Saturday morning pick up curling and was put on a team with the loveliest man as our skip. He complimented every shot, the other team was lovely too and it was really so much fun. One of my new recruits also really enjoyed her game as well so that was really nice. It's a great Saturday so far

    Got a dress I ordered today. I worried it would be too small but it actually fits a little loose. It's the first dress I've worn in almost 20 years.

    Thanks, hon. I've been wearing baggy clothes for so long that my son took me aside last week and practically begged me to get some new stuff that didn't make me look like I was melting lol. This dress is a curve-fitted ruched sheath of all things--not sure what I was thinking there. I'm taking my mom to Cirque du Soleil next month as an early bday gift, so I wanted to wear something special. But I might need to have it taken in just a bit by then.
