    @karllundy I use sleeves and zippers like air conditioners or heaters. When I'm running into the north "wind" I pull the sleeves down, otherwise I had them pushed up. When I wear a jacket I put the zipper up and down a 100 times during a run. Wait until the winter and you see me whining about the cold, I HATE THE COLD and be warned anything under 70 is COLD to me. LOL

    I felt amazing this morning. It was a beautiful sunrise over the bay and perfect running weather. I would have loved to run a bit longer but as it was I was late getting back home to get myself and the kids out the door.

    @ruqayyahsmum - positive thoughts to you and your family. Hopefully all goes well.

    @briebee7 @skippygirlsmom thanks, everythings ok i developed some problems after a MC back in febuary. They now want me tested for diabetes, been pre diabetic for years

    i have an appointment with the bariatrics team in september so should be able to tag the blood tests onto the end of that. not my favourite appointment as they usually berate me for eating more than 800 calories a day and then i get the fun of playing human pin cushion as my veins suck lol

    Powered over the finish line with a distance PB of 6.67 km in 53.46. Not too shabby when my first ever 5km was 45 mins.
    Now to power through the last of this year's Easter eggs :-)

    Had a great run during my lunch break today. Set out to do 4kms but I found a new trail and ended up doing 6. yay me!

    Loving the surprise low mileage week! Came at the right time mentally. Both runs today were nice easy miles, and lots of good running conversation this evening :)

    3.25 miles outside tonight. It was nice and cool, and I finally feel fall is coming. That puts me at 37.75 miles out of 40 for the month. Almost there!

    5.7 miles tonight. Did last nights route in reverse. I ran by the cows again, but this time they were on the other side of the field, so I couldn't take the selfie I wanted.

    I'm over my goal now. Pretty amazing to me, considering my little injury at the beginning of the month had me thinking I was doomed to failure. With what have planned this weekend, I should hit 118 miles or better.

    my wee one doesnt pronate as such she has diplegic cerebral palsy so her knees are together but her feet will be wide apart with her ankle bones heading towards the ground, she wears plastic splints all day usually, she once covered them in stickers in an attempt to pretty them up, theres nothing that can pretty up corrective equipment is there lol

    my dad wore correctives as a child too, he was and still is a pronator, they fitted him with iron calipers at one point to fix it, turns out he knows alot of expletives to cover how he felt about that
    @ruqayyahsmum I know I always tried to figure out a way to make my ugly (heavy) shoes, look like all the cute (light) shoes and sandals the other girls wore too :) I am pretty sure if I had known or heard any expletives I would have used them too to describe my shoes and how I felt about them. Can you tell I still have a strong feeling about them - Ha!

    My trainer always jokes with me about Tuesday being 'Leg day' and that we are going to have a legapalooza workout... not an actual name but it is what I think of it now :)

    Today I ran, hat equipped for the first time in the heat (@7lenny7 it worked!). Fashion wise my 'look' has been imparied but I did a slightly faster than I should have half marathon distance in just under 2 hours, or would have completed the last 80 meters had someone not sent me flying right at the very end. No, she wasn't on a Segway. Fortunately a soft bush was nearby with open arms. Or were those thorns?

    S T O P the P R E S S E S... it is raining. Here. In Vancouver. I know, isn't Vancouver a rain forest so why is that a big deal? Well, it basically hasn't rained in four months! This weekend thanks to Hawaii (curse them!) and their tropical storms flung our way, we are could get 80 to 120 mm of rain (that's close to 5 inches)! It's going to get exciting here in the city and in my beloved mountains and while we need the moisture this likely will not be a 100% good news story.

    Oh well, at least I have a hat.

    In other news I'm in the process of losing my left middle toe's nail. Hee-haw. My nipples however have never been better.
