@TerriRichardson112 Thank you for the kind words.
Biggest struggle this week: Even though I've been keeping in control of the calories and started getting some movement in last week, the number on the scale burbled up a few pounds on Monday and stayed there most of the week. It took a lot of restraint not to try out a few flamenco steps on the scale.
Biggest success this week: Turning this week's early gain into a net zero.
Best of luck to the rest of you. Even if I'm not showing any progress this week, it's nice to see that things are working out better for other.

Biggest struggle this week: Accepting that there may not be any weight coming off this month. I know it's normal to have bouts where the weight stays stagnant, but a loss of a pound or two at minimum would've been nice.

Lose 5lbs in August Open Group
I am so chuffed that I have made my goal weight for this challenge. My weight loss had started plateauing for weeks every month. These challenges are great motivators.
SW:(Starting weight) 210lbs

8th August: 175. Upped my activity because of GoTs.
15th August: 175. Suffering some knee pain so had to ease up this week.
22nd August: 174. At a family wedding for two days but was very active so still lost.
29th August: 171. Woo Hoo! Goal weight for August! Hurrah for Game of Thrones challenges. Two days to go to the end of the month.

Successes: This week I was really concentrating on strength and flexibility and eliminating late night snacking. I increased my calorie goal but my deficit has been above 1000 most days because of GoTs challenges.
Struggles: Finding time to keep my daily steps up. Then I found the indoor walking vids on YouTube.
