Um. That is not true at all. Saruman was a vessel, a tool. SAURAN was an evil mastermind who tricked his best friend (kalebrimbor) into creating a ring that ONLY sauron could use to control the rings he gave to the other groups(the opening monologue of the movie) he had only malicious intentions all along. What is more is that the ring is unusable and basically soul poison to anyone else who wears it. Sorry for character spelling errors1 -
