If I don't eat a big breakfast

If that is what helps you then roll with it! The spacing and calorie content of meals doesn't really matter as long as you stay within your goals. I personally eat 5 meals a day, breakfast, snack, lunch, snack. I spread them out fairly evenly and save a good chunk for dinner after my workout because that is what works for me in that I don't let myself get too hungry. You may want to try that kind of disbursement, if you should want to, it may work for you as well.0

I do. It was a general point rather then a question. Was more wondering if there was science behind it or just personal preference.0 -

If you're body is telling you that it needs fuel, and you're eating healthy foods, what is wrong with that? Eat !0

From Scooby's - a 25% calorie reduction would be giving you 1304 cals, and that's aggressive. 20% reduction would give you 1391. So feel free to have a snack between breakfast and lunchas long as you weigh it of course

personal preference. I have 250-300 cal breakfast and lunch and 700-1000 calories for my evening meal.0 -

That makes me feel a wee bit better about going slightly over my goal recently!
Hoping to start exercising again tomorrow if I get the all clear from the doctor.0 -
Research shows that people who eat breakfast are more successful at maintaining a weight loss.
In my own experience, eating a substantial breakfast sets me up to eat sanely the rest of the day.0 -
