Detox?

No, no, a thousand times no. There is no need to detox, reboot, or kick start anything. That's not how it works. No magic required. Calories in / calories out, time & patience.0

But think of the weight of those toxins that are still left in your system! If you had used a cleanse with a monoglucosaccharide scrubbing process, you would have no toxins left in your metabolic ducts and intestinal pathways. Those toxins provide an excellent adhesion source for fats and other weight-bearing molecules which can completely disrupt the body's enzymatic processing. I really think you need to do some more research on bio-accumulating toxins and their affect on weight-loss efforts!
I can't tell if you're joking or not. You must be. Right?

He's totally not joking. He's "Inventor and Sole Proprietor of The 10 Day Master Peep Cleanse(TM)." Where have you been?

No worries! He does have a nice new beard. Watch for him on the threads; he's legendary. Perhaps he will make an appearance if we nicely ask?0 -

Also an excellent cleanse! Right up there with the 10 day Master Peep Cleanse.0 -
I think my cleanse is superior in that these gummy bears are available year round. So you can cleanse whenever the mood moves you.
And moves you.

There are good and bad Detox's out there. The post about the extra weight loss for a detox is true. I work with fitness and nutriton specialists all day. I have done a detox and plan to do another in 2 weeks. It helps you feel great and you learn about some food sensitivities you don't realize you have. LIFETIME Fitness offers an amazing Detox, tools, online resources and lots of support. Good luck.0

Thank you! Finally someone around here knows what's up! What color are you using for your upcoming cleanse? I've been thinking of doing a mix of green and yellow. Yellow, for the fat loss, obvs, but I'm in the middle of a strength training program, so I'm adding the green in for the bulk.0 -
I do Liver cleanses. The liver is a vital organ that really gets overlooked but it is the one organ that can repair itself. There is a great book (ez reading) called "Heal Your Whole Body". It focuses on a good liver cleanse that is ez to do. There is a website for it that will charge you $40 for the book but if you buy it on Amazon.com, it will only cost $10! I recommend it.0

Why would someone joke about fat-adhering, toxin-filled, metabolic ducts and a monoglucosaccharide scrubbing process? How do you propose someone gets rid of those poisons? The body just magically pushes it out of the body through a series of tubes? Get real![/quote]tincanonastring wrote: »

The best liver cleanse is the one where you just let it do its job.0 -
I've not been around the forums long enough to tell the genuine fools from the gentle trolls in this thread.

Will a cleanse help me get rid of Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO)? It's really scary, because it's in so many things. I'd really like to cut down on the DHMO and help my body get rid of it.0

You really should. Findings from a recently published very long term study have proven that 100% of people that consume DHMO die. Great link by the way. Very informative.0 -

Did you know it is the primary ingredient in most types of anti-freeze??0 -

Sadly, once you've ingested DHMO, you are completely dependent on it. Withdrawal always leads to death, usually within 72 hours0 -
On a serious note, though ...
OP, you don't need a cleanse for anything. Your liver and kidneys do just fine. (If they aren't doing their job, you need a hospital and dialysis or transplant). Eat mostly nutrient rich foods and maintain a deficit and you'll do fine.0 -

I did find that out! I've switched out Dihydrogen Monoxide and have been trying to cleanse it with increased intake of the much healthier Hydronium Hydroxide.0 -
Nothing more predictable than a Detox thread. Yawn.0

^this!
I'm so tired of this country targeting people to make a profit. If you're a relitively health human you don't need a detox, our body cleans and filters itself via the potty. Just like the skin each 20 ish days, our cells are constantly turning over. Give them nutrient rich foods, stay hydrated and you'll likely feel the benifits soon after. Most "cleanses" reek havoc on the intestines and leave you depleted of energy from rapid loss of fluids through diarrhea and urination. Save you self some money and painful cramps and just trust in the human design.0 -
