    Never!

My husband eats all sorts of things unheated out of the can, and I have to leave the room.

    We need a vomiting smiley.

I love chickpeas straight from the can, prefer them even to warmed up. Peaches and applesauce, too. Well, any fruit, really. I also like those flavored tuna pouches on salad. Olives? Some things are actually meant to be eaten straight from the can without any other preparation.

Yes , I have been known to eat corn from the can because it tastes good cold .

I have never saw anything like this ! I'm in Jersey, and we definitely don't have rice pudding in a can ( I would've bought it and tasted it for sure ! )

I like putting canned beans (chickpeas, kidneys, black beans) in salad.

Me too, but at that point they have left the can and become part of something larger than themselves.

ninerbuff is talking about eating cold chowder right out of there

Also risked cutting myself by licking the lid.

Corn, drained with (dukes) mayo and Parmesan (or cotija, depending on what I have on hand) cheese mixed in. I can do that cold or hot lol!

Fruit, tuna, and olives are probably the only things I'd eat straight from the can. I do lick the spoon with chili or soup, but I wouldn't scoop a spoonful.

tuna, sardines, trader joe's smoked trout, bean sprouts ( I mean, what do you really need to do to them though?).

I'd eat anything out of a can if I had to though.

I'll eat fruit and tuna immediately after removing them from the can, but it don't remember ever eating something right out of a can. I'm sure there's nothing actually wrong with it, it just seems...I don't know. Like cowboys.

I suspect that's part of what ninerbuff likes about it, in addition to it being the bomb (can you confirm, ninerbuff :p )

Beans, rice pudding, and fruit salad are all fair game straight out of the tin. Why dirty a bowl or saucepan?

Nah. Not even fond of being out on a ranch or riding a horse. Or being a Dallas Cowboy. Straight up, I see no need to heat certain foods up. But that's just me. I lived as a bachelor a long time and the less clean up I had the do at the time the better. Still have that habit.

Aldi coronation tuna & hotdogs. I see it as saving the environment, no hot water used for dishes ;)

Sardines, kippers, or chickpeas. Anything else, ugh.

Well, I suppose canned fruit would be fine, but I haven't eaten canned fruit in forever. My main association with canned peaches currently is Deadwood.

I don't think that we have canned rice pudding in the US.

The only commercially canned thing that I eat is beans, so nope! Most of my canned foods are canned at home, so nice glass jars instead of tins.

I spot a gap in the market then ;) It is yummy!
