I was just looking for a Temptations song and Mick Jagger is the clue.

My first thought was Papa Was a Rollin' Stone, but I remember we did that one not too long ago, so I thought it must be something else.

That's the one. I guess I forgot if that was recent.

Steely Dan + repeat a recent clue 😉 =

Ha! Oops! I was looking back to see how recent we did Papa Was A Rolling Stone (it was April 29…I guess not that recent) and I saw you just did Do It Again (July 11…more recent). I didn't remember.
Thinking of a new one…

No. This was a top 40 hit for Chicago. Peaked at 13 on Billboard.

Harry Truman
I do recall the song, but #13 is higher than I figured it ever got to. Wikipedia shows #13.

I heard one on Yacht Rock Radio while mowing the lawn. Hopefully you remember this one. It was a pretty big hit around here.

I actually bought the 45, back in the day.
I was listening to my Chicago hits collection, in order of release. It included this song. To me, beginning with this song, is when Chicago's "sound" began to change. Their next single was Old Days. Good song but more pop than earlier Chicago. I think by the time they got to Alive Again, I started to lose interest. Still some good stuff, just lost their sound with the brass section.
I did hear "Harry Truman" on AT40 a few weeks back.

Had to look this one up. I did remember the band name Frankie & The Knockouts, but I couldn't name one of their songs. I had to Google. Came up with Sweetheart. Don't recall that one.

I used to watch Buffy and Jody all the time as a kid. About a year or so ago I watched a season or two on Prime. Good stuff.
