    Jessian...thanks for responding. I got in two consecutive days of rowing and rebounding. ..45 minutes each day. Feels good to be back into a healthy lifestyle. ...only to remember that every day

    I would love to so this! I am new to this group, but I am trying to find ways for me to stay motivated!! I really have no idea on a mile goal to set foe myself... I don't want to over shoot, but I don't want to underestimate myself either! I am pretty heavy still, but I've been walking between 1 and 2 miles a day for a couple of weeks now... do you think 60 is enough? I really want to do this!

    How about if I say...walk 60 miles.... Get at least 30 hours of Zumba or DDR....complete a monthly squat challenge? Does that seem like a good plan? I know this is supposed to be like a personal goal thing...but ibnant to make sure that is a decent amount of moving....lol

    @dangerouscurvs, sounds like a great plan. Just remember, the goal is to move more and you're def doing that so keep it up. If you don't make your goal, no biggie. Try again next month.
    @1yvonna, 45 minutes of rebounding!! My goodness, girl! You're crushing me on that one! I can only do 5 minutes at a time. A few times a day, but still more than 5 at a stretch is more than I can handle. I bow to your bouncing abilities! Lol

    I'm joining again. I didn't meet my goal in August, not sure by how much. For September, I was very blah all month except for last week. My goal for October is 115 miles.

    Oct 1 walked 1.92 miles
    Oct 2 biked 3 miles

    @dangerouscurvs, sounds like a great plan. Just remember, the goal is to move more and you're def doing that so keep it up. If you don't make your goal, no biggie. Try again next month.

    I would like to do this! I will be riding my bike on a trainer and my goal will be 10 miles a day, 5 days a week. my goal for the month, 200 miles.

    Well here is my stats today. ..30 min on rebounder and 20 min on rower....my goal for this week is to do that routine 2 more times. Also, I want to do chalene extreme weight training 3 times this week and 3 more days of some other cardiovascular exercise.
    My goal for the month is to assess the week before and make a small improvement to it for the following week. Also. Be forgiving to myself on hectic days.....do something even if it is not the goal of the day.

    Spring has sprung and DST starts this weekend so the plan is ... more than September. Especially more walking and cycling outside. :)


    Oct 1 - 2.8 km (35 min) walking + 25 flights of stairs (18 min)

    Oct 2 - 5.5 km (65 min) walking + 25 flights of stairs (18 min)

    Oct 3 - 27.3 km (85 min) cycling ... outside on the cycleway. Hot and windy, very windy. Challenging ride out, quick ride back.

    Oct 4 - 20.3 km (65 min) cycling ... outside on the eastern shore path. Really nice day. Slightly cooler and much less windy.

    Totals:
    Oct Cycling Outside: 47.6 km (150 min)
    Oct Cycling Inside: 0 min
    Oct Walking: 8.3 km (100 min)
    Oct Stairs: 50 flights (36 min)
    Oct Time Total: 286 min = 4 hour 46 min
    Oct Distance Total: 55.9 km = 34.7 miles

    Thank you everyone one who post here.....all of you are motivating. ...after looking at machka9 s post....I am motivated to going up my works 12 flight of stairs at least once a day.

    right, time to play catch up.

    Had a lovely birthday weekend in Bruges, with a stop off on the way to some WWI cemeteries and Menin Gate etc. quite incomprehensible loss of life and very moving.

    Mostly gentle wandering over the weekend, nothing to strenuous, although some of those beers were quite heavy to lift..... I also managed not to kill myself and my friends in my first experience driving on the 'wrong' side of the road.

    Targets for this month I'm going to up my walking and reduce my cycling to see how I get on.

    Walking - 8.5/70 miles
    cycling 0/40 miles
    swim - 100 laps (25m pool)
    Lindy class and dancing - 20 hours

    Total mileage - 130 miles.

    I've been sick the last couple of days so no exertion - but I have a Lindy camp at the weekend so will make up for it!!!

    Didn't get too much in yesterday. Interesting fact: My high school graduating class was all of 12 graduates. I know, right?? Anyway, the 5 of who are of the female persuasion got together last night at my place. So many memories... :) But alas, so little walking. I'll make up for it.

    I'm in again for this month. Since it is getting dark so much earlier, don't know about setting a goal. I think I just go with I'll do what I can.
