    This week was success.I managed to move everyday. :-)
    Totals this week-

    Steps - 1,02,126
    Run/walk distance - 92.72 kms
    Active calories burned - 6400
    Active time - 22 hours 6 mins.
    Exercise workouts - 2
    and yess... Weight loss - 1 kg :-)
    And thanks to all.You all have been very motivating.

    set my goal for 200 this month
    10/1 - 10.32 miles, road bike, started at 7:20 pm. 1/2 daylight 1/2 after dark
    10/4 - 12.14 miles, road bike, windy windy
    10/5 - 27.36 miles, road bike, 14.3 ave.
    10/6 - 11.57 miles, road bike, 13.2 ave. boy our eve getting short, finished in the dark.
    10/7 - 19.30 miles, road bike, rode with the Wed. night group

    Spring has sprung and DST starts this weekend so the plan is ... more than September. Especially more walking and cycling outside. :)

    Oct 2 - 5.5 km (65 min) walking + 25 flights of stairs (18 min)
    Oct 3 - 27.3 km (85 min) cycling ... outside on the cycleway. Hot and windy, very windy. Challenging ride out, quick ride back.
    Oct 4 - 20.3 km (65 min) cycling ... outside on the eastern shore path. Really nice day. Slightly cooler and much less windy.

    Oct Cycling Outside: 47.6 km (150 min)
    Oct Cycling Inside: 0 min
    Oct Walking: 8.3 km (100 min)
    Oct Stairs: 50 flights (36 min)
    Oct Time Total: 286 min = 4 hour 46 min

    Hey one and all. Missed a couple of days. Got back to it today. 31 min rebounding and 30 min machine rowing. Felt good.

    Way back when ... when the last few dinosaurs still roamed the earth :wink: ... I used to be a bodybuilder. I trained with a coach for a couple years, and then continued to do it myself for a few more years. My coach kept trying to talk me into doing the posing for competitions and all that, but I was having none of it.

    Since then I've dabbled in it ... usually during the winter months. But I haven't done much of it in the last few years. So it is good to be doing it again. My husband set up a home gym for us (but mainly for me) which makes it easier ... more convenient.

    One of my vanity goals is to muscular arms by the time the weather heats up enough to wear sleeveless tops. And that's coming soon, so I've got to get busy!!

    Machka9.....oh how would I like to have muscular arms to appear with the flowers in the spring with the flowers :) too.
    Did 20 minutes on rower and 25 minutes on the rebounder.

    Me, I finally am exiting my chest infection but with work stresses and general busyness it's a slow process

    Spent the weekend on the English Riviera at a swing dance festival. The hotel was....er.... VERY Fawlty Towers.... I tried to use the pool too but there was only room in it to do about four strokes. Later I found out that one couple must've misread 'swing' festival for 'swingers' festival and were caught in flagrante in the same pool!!!!

    But the dancing was fun and I learnt stuff

    Walking - 22/70 miles
    cycling 0/40 miles
    swim - 100 laps (25m pool)
    Lindy class and dancing - 7/20 hours

    Total mileage - 22/ 130 miles

    As most of you know my mom passed on Wed Oct 7th. It is something we all must pass thru at some point and I am moving onward with the help from GOD. HE knows our pain and sorrow. HE is the one who holds tomorrow and HE holds us all within the palm of HIS hands...

    I did get a bit of walking in-between strict visiting hours but I am way behind. It is ok though as mom knew I was there as much as possible...
