To post a pic just click on the camera symbol and upload it. I use map my walk as you can add friends and join challenges on it. You can also track all your mileage and it sends you a monthly summary of it. :#

6.4 miles for me this morning in this glorious autumn sunshine...

*Squeal!* I know! Don't forget Talking Dead too!
Fear the Walking Dead is okay. Glad I checked it out, keeps me from yanking my hair out while I wait. :D

October 1st: done 30 minutes on the treadmill, 8 incline, 3.5 mph.
October 2nd: done a casual walk around the pasture after dinner with the dogs, and cat for 15 minutes.
The pace is set for the dogs. My younger dog and the cat race each other, then my dog runs circles. The older dog just waddles around then stops and sits to catch his breathe.
He's not doing bad for having a messed up spine, busted trachea and in the process of congested heart failure.
Fall has made his breathing much easier and the evening walks to help his own weight loss.
My dog included. Not due for a weigh-in till February, but could tell he lost weight cause I had to tighten his collar.
Walking is good for overweight dogs too.

Oct. 2nd: A very chilly 38° out this morning but a perfect day for a walk/run. I use the Mapmywalk app to keep track of my distance/pace, which I really like...except when I forget to stop my workout when I'm done and get in the car and drive home. Then it tells me I ran the last 5 miles at 50 m.p.h. HUGE calorie burn :p

Anyway, managed to get in 10.2 miles today.

Hi! I like to get in at least 100k steps a week too! I'm a school sub & when I joined MFP I quickly learned that I already get 7-10k steps a day at most school sites, so in order to lose weight I need to do a little more. I try to incorporate a fast walk, a long walk, and a hill walk or hike into each week as well.

    Oct 1: 18347 steps, or 8.68 miles...
This day I was in an ED classroom, attended an after-school meeting & went out for a beer with some girlfriends, mostly on foot in my neighborhood.
    Oct 2: 16548 steps, or 7.83 miles...
ED classroom, then drove middle school cross country runners to trail; walked with another mom while the kids ran.

Friday is the end of my fitness week, and this week I went a total of 104228 steps, 49.35 miles.
