    Was out of town for a couple days and then yesterday spent the entire day painting my father's porch. I was too tired to even think about LNS'ing...LOL!

    As expected, I had a slice of pumpkin pie everyday of the Thanksgiving long weekend :( But at least I didn't snack after dinner.

    Last night I "snacked" on an evening viewing of "Vertigo" and a great cup of herbal tea. I really believe boredom is at the root of a lot of my LNS. Thank you one and all for your encouragement!

    I'm in! It's October 13. If I can do this for the rest of October, it will be a major victory for me. LNS is my achilles heel. This is an excellent mini goal for me. Evening is such a challenge. No LNS and just go to bed!!

    Hubby wanted to watch movies late last night. So I sat down with him and indulged in one, 90 calorie Fiber One brownie bar.
    Replaced my junkie snacks with the lower calorie smaller portioned ones.
    Husband saw me with that and wanted the Fiber One Struesel bar.
    I'm replacing most the snacks with those and now he's admitting they taste good. Which they do, just some people complain cause they're small, but that's the idea. ;)

    Some people also add a * to the latest number. In the example, that would be

    if LNS won the 3rd night.

    It's as simple as that. Or as complicated, as you will discover. Nevertheless, the persistence and good results of some of our "old" members (and some people keep coming back) show that the battle is worthwhile .

    Work paid for my lunch at a meeting today: one turkey sandwich and one chocolate chip cookie came to 900 calories. I should have looked up the restaurant menu before I ate! I was so bummed that I snacked the rest of the day and after dinner. Totally bummed.
