Television Shows You Wished Had Ended Differently

Downton Abbey. Not that it's finished, but the end of last season they killed off a main character. Noooooo!!!
Gosh, I'm STILL angry about that!
ETA: I liked Matthew and Sybil. >.<0 -
St. Elsewhere. That ending was a total insult to the entire run of the show.
What you said. That still makes me mad.0 -
Weeds!!
This.0 -
Lost- I wanted something more creative!
Oh gosh, the ending of "Lost" had me BAWLING! Seriously, I think I cried for a good half hour after it ended.0 -
Loved Firefly!!!!!?0
-
Heroes!!! WTF was that for an ending?!0
-
La Femme Nikita (1997–2001), Peta Wilson & Roy Dupuis. I wish it never ended at all.0
-
Flash Forward, one season wasn't enough0
-
Don't get me started on lost!!!!0
-
Roseanne. It was pretty dumb how it all ended..0
-
Lost - Any ending would have been better.
Firefly - Should never have ended...ever.0 -
married with children i want it back
alcatraz i never seen the whole show because another show came on at the same time. but from what i saw it was great suspence0 -
Southland. I try to pretend it's not over. I try to pretend what I saw did not actually happen. GAH!!!!0
-
Quantum Leap - ya couldn't just let Sam get home, now could ya? :mad:0
-
Lost- I wanted something more creative!
I second this. It felt like a total cop-out, and like they had never actually bothered to think that far ahead. Lame.
Yes! Super lame! I invested six years of my life in that show and that sorry-*kitten* ending was the best they could do?0 -
The BBC series Coupling. I wish it hadn't ended as soon, and not with a pregnancy! Annoying.
Also, the show "Ringer"...it was canceled and ended terribly. I loved the character of Andrew and thought it was totally unrealistic for him to wind up being all evil.
Coupling was bloody hilarious!0 -
Quantum Leap - ya couldn't just let Sam get home, now could ya?
i rember this show awww0 -
"The Sopranos"....after watching all 6 seasons several times over, not giving the series an ending of any description really cheesed me off...and now that T is no longer with us, they never will have an ending.
Totally agree. Too bad about JG...was a talented actor.0 -
I know one show they got right...
No! They killed Charlie! :sad:0 -
Buffy, the vampire Slayer
And Angel!0 -
Prison Break. In my mind, it ended in season two with Michael, Link, and Sara on the boat sailing away. Link would have been reunited with his son; Michael and Sara would have had a nice, healthy relationship and marriage. Sucre and Maricruz would be happy. C-Note and his family would be okay. Bellick and T-Bag would have gotten their butts handed to them...
Yea... past the boat, the other seasons of PB never existed.
Yes, this!0 -
Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23.
And by a "different ending" I mean NOT ENDING AT ALL BECAUSE THAT SHOW WAS FLAWLESS AND I'M STILL UPSET THAT IT WAS CANCELED.0 -
Lost. Terrible ending, furious.
Carnivale. I'm desperate to see more, but no :explode:0 -
Weeds!!
YES! This is what I thought of straight away.
And
Outrageous Fortune. I really wanted something else other than that. I don't know what I wanted but it was exactly the same as Weeds (although OF was first)0 -
Quantum Leap - ya couldn't just let Sam get home, now could ya?
How could Sam turn down "God" and not help people throughout time?0 -
Buffy, the vampire Slayer
And Angel!
OMG how could I have forgotten about Buffy?! It went downhill after Angel left!0 -
and while we are talking tv i sure hope tongihts season finale of Mad Men is good.0

Pretty much every show I loved on network television has been canceled. For me, it was Pushing Daisies. But there was no good way to wrap that one. *sigh* And I'm still POed at the ending of Torchwood: Miracle Day. I believe with all my heart that there will be another series, but too many things have to happen first.
I'm *really* worried about how they are going to end Dexter this season....0 -
The Borgias - I've never become so addicted to a show and I hated the ending only because I didn't want it to end.
And The O.C. - the end was awful, depressing, and didn't do the series justice.0 -
Homicide, Pemberton should have forgiven his partner.
Big Love, killing Bill was the easy way out, and not unexpected but the neighbor was a good touch.0
