    It was mid summer ..his car ran off the road down an embankment. It came to rest against a tree..his leg were wedged under the stirring wheel...he drifted in and out of consciousness for a few days..realising he was not going to be saved he decided the only way to get out was to cut off his leg at the thigh....
    Lucky he had a bread and butter knife from lunch..for 3 days..he hacked and dug..but died from blood loss on the 5th day
